Are they? I never read much behind the scenes stuff on Tolkien's work, but his dwarves always seemed like an almost 1:1 copy of the dwarves from Norse mythology, just more thought out as a culture and less magical. The parallels people made to certain Jewish stereotypes seem incidental.

That's what I meant. There is nothing especially dumb in this post, but number of notes is exaggerated. I don't believe all of those reblogs are from queer people. Sorry for misunderstanding.

I mean, JoJo has people killing dogs, stealing bodies, mutilating and killing each other, amongst other stuff like attempted child rape and things like that.
I'd reckon that Yukako and Koichi being a couple is the least "problematic" thing about this, but okay.

Thats why i dont understand why they even like jojo, a series full of manly men with questionable fashion choices.
The plot doesnt shy away from horror; remember what angelo did?

Yukako was messed up in the beginning but didnt she and koichi make up? I mean he's not scared of her anymore.

Wow it's almost like some writers take inspiration from real world things or actual shit they've experienced, and also you don't have to be Judeo Christian to be a homophobic piece of shit.
 
"Judeo Christians" Almost all religions look on unfavorably to homosexuality. You want yaoi acceptance, go to Ancient Greece.

Also if a writer is ready to tackle homophobia in their story i'm pretty sure they've also included non-white characters to speak of racism. (but i forgot, if it's not black to these fuckers it's not good enough)

I guess some people feel like if the choice is between gonorrhea or syphilis maybe the right thing is to say no to both. Sorry you equate guns with rednecks. Are you sensitive about stereotypes associated with your work, hobbies, gender and/or sexual preference? If so you a a hypocrite. I am a firearms instructor and white males are not the majority of my students. I have more female students than male students and minorities outnumber whites as well.

I'm honestly surprised anti-shippers in general don't have their own thread yet (at least, I haven't seen one), because they are a goldmine of pathetic behavior. They seem to think they have a say in who ships what in fandoms, and make lists of people calling them pedophiles if they even just ship an older teenager with an adult, or if they age-up characters. Recently, they were submitting gore to peoples' inboxes (and that's aside from the usual rape and death threats). But don't try to tell them to just block people and blacklist tags, nooo. That's too much responsibility for them. Their war cry is seriously "Fiction affects reality". They really believe that shipping cartoons is going to cause rape, abuse, and pedophilia in the real world. A lot of the time, this is over anime characters whose designs could be used elsewhere and claimed to be a different age, and no one would know the difference.

There are anti-shipping blogs for just about every fandom, as well as a plethora with names like "antinastyships" or "yourshipisdisgusting", or what have you. It's unreal.
