Generally speaking it was NATIVES who murdered each other because "THEY'RE A WENDIGO!" unless they're talking about that one Wendigo hunter.. who was like, half native, was in super high standing in the native community, and was a fucking shaman IIRC, and generally only did it after someone accused someone else of being a wendigo

Has it even been a box office hit? The way tumblr goes on about it they hail it as a success but last I heard kids' movies have beaten it and the new Star Trek will do so soon as well.

Technically it's broken even on its production budget IIRC, but its been stated that it needs to make at least three times its budget to break even due to marketing. So no, it's not a success, its a pretty huge failure so far.

Edit: Oh nope, I was wrong, it hasnt broken even yet.

I don't really get the hype though, all the feminism pandering in marketing was annoying as fuck. I hate how shit like Buzzfeed taints everything with its SJW-esque "reporting". It's just a movie. Nothing is different about society from it. People give movies too much credit.

Also good job alienating like, everyone but the niche demographic of liberal feminists, marketing.
