"Masculinity is fragile because men and women have different preferences?" Femininity is so fragile you guys can't accept basic gender differences. I have a hypothesis that many of the Tumblr "nonbinary/agender/whatevergender" kids are probably actually transmen but they feel they can't express that because it's become fashionable to shit on men and masculinity for no reason at all. Products like this aren't harming anybody. If you're a women and don't want to buy things marketed toward women, no one is stopping you from buying the men's version.
They're getting bent out of shape over toothpaste. Maybe they're the fragile ones.

I've had two friends try to drag me into Dragon Age (thankfully they didn't succeed due to my hatred of elves in fantasy). If it's not about the 'gay erasure' with people who wanna romance certain characters (Dorian and that other one...Cassandra I think? come up for this a lot), it's the race relations shit. I'd say the fandom deserves a thread of its own but to be honest I think this kind of sperging only applies to the Inquisition crowd.
It's Sera (Cassandra is straight and tumblr's still butthurt over it because she's not feminine therefore "she can't be straight!!!")

I do agree it deserves it's own thread, with the recent sperging with POCs supposedly being pushed out of the fandom, people whining that white people have POC protags, and generally just everything. I hate the fandom with a passion; I just want to play my stupid fantasy video games.

This was on a post about a little kid's Overwatch fan character and someone has too much justice in their asshole

Ah the salty smell of dreadfully disguised envy. I mean if you're this jealous of a little kid getting a nice present from a company with a history of doing random nice stuff for fans (good PR aside it's still nice that they do it) you really need to scrape the black paint off your windows and eat something other than pot ramen. Also if you're such a talented artist why are you salty that another talented artist re-drew a kids picture? Are you saying that you need your art re-drawn for it to be presentable?

I disagree. From what I've seen, "nonbinary" kids come from two directions.
If male, they want to step out of having "male privilege" and so think that nonbinary is less extreme than full-on tucute transwoman.
If female, they want to avoid a different kind of privilege, such as class privilege. They need those SJW points to be taken seriously.
In both cases, I think it comes down to the fact that people don't really consider their gender unless they're dysphoric. So if you were born a girl, you might not even think about what it's like to be female as opposed to male and just consider the lack of sensation lack of a gender. A decent comparison might be this: think about having a stiff shoe, like a ski boot, on the correct foot. Since it fits, you don't feel any pain. If you moved it to the other foot or tried to use one for both, however, you would.

See, there's being kinda fuzzy, and then there's being a goddamn bear. I mean, you trim your regular hair, so why should your body hair be any different? That can't be hygienic.
As an admittedly hirsute (sorry, the word makes me laugh) dude, I have to say trimming body hair isn't particularly a thing. At least for men, even the hairy ones- once it grows to a certain length it doesn't keep going like head hair- or if it does, it's at an unnoticeably slow rate.
I imagine hairy women may have some serious personal image issues coming from it and may feel the need to shave/wax like mad, but ehh..
Anyway! Back to tumblr autism!

I personally know a few women that are like "eh, shaving is too much effort," so they're pretty fuzzy. Still, it's like a light peach fuzz, not like that tumblrite was talking about. Also, nipple hair...?

Thing is, they'll pull out the "WOMEN'S PRODUCTS COST MORE IT'S DISCRIMINASHUN" card. But when it comes to regular preferences they'll only allow it one way, as in guys liking "girly stuff" or girls like "guy stuff" because apparently guys liking stuff marketed to them is purporting stereotypes or toxic masculinity or other nonsense.

I remember a post going around, I don't know if I could find it again, but there was this 13-year old boy who didn't like his sister's more flowery-smelling scented candles so he came up with his own line called "Man Cans" which were candles in a can with scents he (and possibly other guys) would like, like...pizza and campfires and shit. Tumblr mocked the absolute shit out of him and called him their usual repertoire of childishly horrible insults until someone pointed out that every Man Can was made out of cans recycled from homeless soup kitchens and the profits used for charity.

You know how some women get unibrows and stuff? There are women out there who are genetically predisposed to have a crazy amount of body hair. The way that poster describes it is kind of overblown, but it happens, and it's not just caused by being incredibly lax in your grooming habits.

I would have thought it's more the calm, reasonable voice slowly but surely explaining the crime? I dunno though.
I see your crazy bird and raise you a crazy bird.

I'm pretty sure they still called him evil even after the charity was pointed out, I distinctly remember some bitch going on about how 80k wasn't even that much, and it was only soup anyway, and if he'd been a woman... and so on.
