So the essence of this tumblrina's complaints would seem to be "Oh my God, why isn't my story for ten-year-olds a shocking expose about the dark heart of American racism this country was built upon, but with magic and werewolves? #cw: racism, #cw: white people #so triggered #literally shaking rn"? I just want to make sure I'm understanding this correctly. If these sensitive souls really want that in a book or a movie or whatever, that's fine. Those stories are out there. They just need to stop reading books and watching movies aimed at goddamn ten-year-olds and expecting Twelve Years a Slave.

They do the same with cartoons, so it doesn't really boggle the mind that they'd do the same with Monster High books. (Or whatever series they're bitching about atm.)

I never got the hate-boner for the Beatles this site has (besides typical "white male" hate). Maybe because they're a little overrated? Maybe but I don't see the Rolling Stones or Queen get such a hatedom.

A combination of "this band is overrated", "all the members are white", "hipsters like them", and "John Lennon was kind of a douche" all turn into #problematic
