I was told that people with autism commonly lacked empathy due to them having difficulty recognising other's emotions, being unable to express certain emotions themselves and because they lack the cognitive experience to do so, but they can still sympathise with people.
Eh...they could be talking about a form of autism that I've never heard of, maybe even self-diagnosed autism. Or maybe I'm just wrong.

Deerkin, really? I mean, I get loving their grace and delicacy, but where I live, deer are a nuisance. They're huge eating machines that destroy crops and bring Lyme-carrying ticks onto your living spaces. Their population has to be culled annually.

Why, don't you know that the solution to people breaking the law is to pass more laws? Surely if we just have more crimes and penalties on the books, all criminals everywhere will suddenly realize we don't want them doing this bad behavior and apologize for offending us?
Or...uh...if we just get the already law-abiding citizens to be even more law-abiding, that'll bleed over into the criminal element somehow. Like averaging or something. That's how it works, right?
