Dragons are usually depicted in mythology and fiction as hoarders of precious gems, gold, and silver. I'm assuming that's where they got it from, but I wouldn't be surprised if they got it off of MLP.

Hoarding them, yes. Not eating them.

There's one example I know of that is certainly familiar to tumblr.

If you have to get your facts about things from MLP, you clearly have an advanced form of mental retardation.

I gotta say, if you're willing to put up with Tumblr's brand of bullshit, you can really earn a pretty penny from these poor, deluded tards.

(first post, pls correct if I used the formating incorrectly)
Nah, since it's tumblr, that blog doesn't make any of the clothes itself, just gives out "recommendations" and has links to the shops that sell all the shitty fandom clothes tumblr goes ape for. It's essentially a really autistic look of the day blog. The concept is hilarious, though.
Welcome to the farms by the way, enjoy your stay.

As opposed to have other non autistic "of the day" blogs we've seen around here, like Cisphobic / Queer character of the day.

And welcome to the Farms bud.

Ah, okay. You know, if this weren't Tumblr we're speaking of, I'd find that really sad. It's one thing to use them to get some big bucks (for a while, at least), but just recommending stuff to snowflakes, having to feed their delusions and not getting anything out of it is quite something.
But they're probably cut from the same tree, so no sympathies.

"I don't have 'the spoons' to use deodorant." For fuck's sake, showering at least takes some energy (although that's still no excuse not to do it), but how fucking hard is it to put on some deodorant? It takes maybe ten seconds at most.
The whole 'spoons' excuse stems from self-dxed autistics on Tumblr; it's basically another way to say "I'm too fucking lazy and I don't want to keep my job."

Whenever I hear Tumblrinas bitching about "spoons", I'm always reminded of Ignatius J. Reilly talking about his "valve" and how doing every little minuscule task would upset it. In other words, it's complete bullshit.

I don't think too many Tumblrinas have ever read widely in Boethius.

(Incidentally - "the spoons"? What the hell?)

I know, I know. This person isn't all that different from your average Tumblrite. But what really gets me is how she goes "I'm a lesbian!" except she's apparently attracted to a male character. Somehow.

Here's the Wikipedia article on it. Not sure how much legitimacy the concept has, considering the article uses the word "neurotypical" and has therefore been infected by Dumblr.

Some spergyness: The original "spoon theory" was pretty legitimate, and fit many experiences. It was written by someone with lupus, I believe. It was meant for people with chronic pain and physical chronic illnesses, like fibromyalgia, lupus, multiple sclerosis, etc. But now it's become a catch-all for every disorder, disease, and illness under the sun. The "Spoon Theory" also doesn't really apply to psychological disorders and mental illness (including autism), because it was never meant to be about that, but god forbid you point that out, or criticize the flaws in the "Spoon Theory" though - you'll get ripped apart and called an ebil, ebil abled oppressor. Even if you are disabled, and who the "Spoon Theory" was originally written for!

The best part, though? "Spoonie". Yes, that's what people who follow the theory call themselves. "Spoonies".

The Spoon theory was originally a nice way for physically disabled people to explain that their energy was limited and how carefully they had to choose their day to day abilities in order to still function and have the energy for things like getting dressed or cooking dinner.

I sort of find it hilarious that tumblr, a place that screams bloody murder about appropriation and erasure, has no issues appropriating things from the disabled, the mentally ill, and the LGBT community and erasing them.
