Gender Neutral Undertale Headcanons

Definately not the craziest post out there, but Christ it's cringey.

Think of Sans and Papyrus, who, for all intents and purposes, could be associated as male or female- but CHOOSE to be associated as male. They have no benefit by being identified by a gender, they literally lack any entrails or reproductive organs- so their genders would be denoted completely by their mentality. They are masculine- and therefore- call each other “he” and refer to each other’s things as “his”.

It also means that someone who is asexual would not be abashed by monsters, since… Well. Really what is sex? I mean, some monsters may get it on, but do they really need to?

Ugh...

Did they actually just censor "uppity"? What the hell?

"Uppity" gets used a lot in race-baiting, usually in regard to black people who think they are above their station.

It's one of those words like "thug," one that doesn't necessarily have any racial connotations to it until it gets overused by self-conscious racists.

"Uppity" gets thrown around in regards to mouthy women, too, regardless of color.

I always thought of uppity as a word for old women (usually WASPs, actually) who demand to see the manager because the cashier won't take their expired coupon for 50 cents off. I guess tumblr could still call it sexist since it's still applying to women tho.

Why do people post these things on a blog.
Why do these people have followers.
Why.

Morbid curiousity makes me wonder where the cut came from. Is this a cutter's blog so it attracts the sort of people who mutilate themselves? Or is it just a totally random scrape that someone's obsessing over?

Not sure which is more disturbing.

Because the world is full of stupid people. Including stupid people who think self-injury is cool.

"I'm much too tumblr to do such a thing as use the English language."

As for that, there are two linguistic trends about the nature of grammatical rules. Prescriptivism and descriptivism, both relating to methods of dealing with what constitutes proper grammar of a language.

Naturally, the parts of Tumblr that talk about it went full-retard with it in favor of descriptivism, many proponents of which liken the trend as being more progressive and hip than those of us fuddy-duddies who prefer prescriptivism's clarity. Then they insist that any use of any language, no matter how wrong, is equally valid. What they fail to comprehend is that language is a shared system of communication and that their grossly improper grammar and diction makes them much harder to comprehend, even if one can eventually understand them. It's incredibly rude and presumptuous on their parts, to insist everyone else have to cater to them even in the realm of basic language, regardless of if who they're writing or speaking to is not a native speaker, has some linguistic or cognitive problem relating to language, or does not know the Tumblr/SJW subculture's slang and mores regarding language.

Then again, that's a recurring part of the SJW and Tumblr subculture phenomenon, that egotistical assumption that everyone must cater to them, shelter them, humor them, and coddle them.

I posted a screenshot from the same person's blog earlier in the thread--long story short, they're a fictionkin who is kin with characters from a story they wrote themselves. Not enough lulz for a cow, but very whiny and entitled as far as they go. And they have the delusion that their original story is the peak of fiction and everyone should be honored to read it.
And no, they are not a teenager.

Oh... I've never heard of it being used in regards to race. I just thought it was a word to describe somebody as arrogant or snobbish. Well then.

Like I said, it's used as a codeword. Not everybody that uses it is a racist, but you can tell if somebody's racist depending on the context it's used.

I swear to God, lately every time I've gotten into a race discussion on this forum I think of a Boondocks strip that demonstrates my point perfectly.
