I hate this line of reasoning. The initial argument is that being otherkin isn't something you choose to do, but something you just literally "are", right? Then why write this like it's something you could choose to do, other than it being bullshit? We can just replace otherkin with something else that you can't choose.

TBH OC x Canon isn't as bad as other options. It's juvenile, yeah, but I'll take it over incest and real people shipping any day of the week.
 
There's a 53 page Google doc that's been going around on the site about some user with the URL cyberlesbian supposedly named Anahi who claimed to be Jewish (because her Grandpa has a big nose), Black, Native American, Chinese, and Cuban to gain popularity. Also believes in the celebrity reptilian theory and how Native Americans were descended from aliens. The doc is filled with a ton of salt and extremity, but it reminds me too much of the user Zubat from a couple years ago, who claimed to work at NASA, constantly changed her ethnicity, and had a GoFundMe page in memory of a trans woman who committed suicide but it turned out it was all a scam. Mostly the ethnicity part.

I'm not going to lie, my eyes glazed over somewhere around "reptilian". It took me a moment to realize I'd reached the bottom and I didn't recall a word.

... in retrospect, I wish I hadn't gone back to read it again.

I honestly haven't seen someone used or accusing "straight white guys" for something on twitter for awhile to be honest,until now.

Oh yeah because all straight white guys like to riot over stupid shit like sports while gays are "normal" and "innocent" unlike these evil straight whities. And how about that time when black people came in and ruined this clothing store all because of one "racist" ad?

Could’ve sworn I saw some brown skinned people in those crowds but OK.
That H&M store being trashed doesn’t count, they tried to make them buy that stupid hoodie.
