We have the faculty of choice--and one thing that history proves time and again is that people will usually choose whatever behaviors they think will get them what they want. That sounds kind of like the mouse utopia experiment done in the 60s where a bunch of mice were put into an environment where they had everything they needed to survive. The females became extremely aggressive (losing maternal instincts) and the males became too concerned with grooming to mate with the females. Those male mice were feminists before modern feminism existed (according to that post).

It's bewildering because it's what sane people have been saying about the whole "ask strangers about their pronouns" nonsense ever since it was suggested. For the simple reasons that 1) it's retarded and 2) it's probably going to make actual transgender people feel shitty.

But that post still manages to avoid being sane, because of OP stating that you're specifically not allowed to do it "if ur cis". But genderclowns should still ask everyone, because they are incapable of being transphobic.

Now that you mention it, I'm sure that I've seen that cited as well on the site. To really drive home the "lol we are only joking but also definitely kill off an entire gender".

Has there been screeching over the concept of the gender-swapped "Lord of the Flies" (or whatever it is)? Assuming that the plot isn't "they all unite through the power of sisterhood and create a feminist utopia", I can't imagine it would go down well with that crowd.

Mostly on Twitter, but yeah, people are mad about it because it "completely misses the whole point of the original" or something like that.
