So technically "Sonichu" might be here to stay untill Chris kicks the bucket, or more likely Barb does it instead, forcing Chris to face reality.

He'll probably double down and go full Norman Bates.

I mean, he made up an elaborate fantasy cope lasting the better part of a year so far because a convention about a little girls cartoon got cancelled. Barb's passing is going to overwhelm him.

I just, imagine him on deathbed still insisting he is Sonichu and saying he is going to return to Mama.
 
If Chris keeps on pretending he’s Sonichu it’s going to make for one hell of a funeral eulogy when Barb dies and he steps up to say his piece.

I feel like he's going to use social media to publicly shame any relatives that don't attend her funeral. This is assuming she preplanned for a funeral because otherwise they won't have the money for it when she passes

Larping as sonichu is easy if the only things Chris has to change are referring to Sonichu as a first person, Chris as a third person and a few keynotes about his background even if it's inconsistent. The rest are the same so it takes a minimal effort to keep it longer.

Just wondering if he keep his character when he's in front of the judge.

As far as resting place, it's already planned. In terms of an event -not so much. Going by his history, Chris will no doubt call out relatives (those who are still living) that will have to attend Barb's funeral. He''ll call out David and Caroline who have no association to Barb whatsoever.

This is the same guy who thought Bob died at the sound that a nurse made. He blamed the hospital staff, but didn't go after them. Although, I would be surprised if and when Chris snaps and goes after a mall Santa.

Considering that Bob thought special schools were insane asylums and would do stuff like that to chris, and fed that misinformed drivel to chris, it'd be ironic that chris actually end up getting it.
