Shit like this is why when the Spanish showed up, looking for gold, all their neighbors were like "oh yeah, these Aztecs over here, they got LOTS of gold, man! Here, have some maps!"

Read of an explorer documenting his travels, who saw one of these cut a horse's head clean off at the thickest part of the neck.
