the "genetic fuck up" doesn't apply to cats. these fuckers have absolutely no problem going feral and surviving out there.
i agree that keeping pets in captivity is cruel though. birds need to fly, not sit in cages all day. likewise, cats need to go outside and hunt, not be confined to an apartment all day.

yeah keeping big cat species in captivity is even worse than regular cats. the bigger they get, the more they suffer in those tiny rooms and cages people put them in.
its like when people pick up baby alligators as pets because they look like cute little lizards, but then a few years later they have a fucking ten foot long reptile sitting in their bathroom and no fucking idea how to deal with it.

He's talking about how most white tigers are born retarded to some degree. A white tiger hasn't been seen in the wild since the 1950s, when a light cub was found with a family of normal orange tigers. The person who found him was intrigued by the natural color variation, so he stole the cub away from his mother and siblings. Today's white tigers are all descendants of that original white tiger, and are the result of countless generations of inbreeding needed to get the double recessive gene that gives tigers a white coat.
