I really love Dune. For those interested, the Redux Fanedit by Spicediver is the most accurate film adaptation that i've seen. Comes in at just under three hours though, so not for the faint of heart. You can hopefully still find it in the usual bays places.

It's by far my favourite sci-fi series, I reread it every year or so, and I'm holding out hope for the Denis Villeneuve version.

Jodorowsky's would have been a trip, but it definitely wouldn't be anywhere near the version I want to see, and 'Frank Herbert's Dune' (2000) was a massive disappointment.

I mean, for fucks sake, they had a fat white bald faced guy playing Stilgar... that's worse than lazy, it's downright offensively disrespectful to the source material.
