I'm literally baffled by this. It's clearly some kind of power/oppression thing but if you really think the virus is dangerous then all this would do is kill minorities. How does this creature function properly?

They explained that masks are "literally killing blacks". Literally! Because blacks in masks have historically linked to mass amounts of violent crime people, perhaps police, associate masked black men with impending violence, and might be more apt to defend themselves or be on guard. That is generally reasonable.

1) A law that specifies that it only applies to someone of a certain skincolor (or does not apply for someone with a certain skincolor) is unconstitutional afaik.
2) This is a really elaborate way to unwittingly acknowledge how out of control black gang violence is.
