Say what you will about Andres Serrano, at least his stuff makes you feel something. Revulsion? Perhaps. But there's still an element of fascination behind it, and it's the kind of thing you can't look away from.For instance, this descriptively named photo called "Piss Christ" is symbolic, but it's also visually interesting, at least as far as a statue in a jar of piss can go. It sold for a lot, but that was due to the intense provocation the piece stirred due to its controversial subject matter.

Just as another example, one of his works, Blood and Semen III, was used as the cover for Metallica's Load. It's fucking gross, but that's why it's so intriguing, especially since Metallica were super mainstream at that point, yet here they are with an album cover that would horrify most people.
That sculpture of the dude sucking his own dick though? That's not art. If anything it's hilarious in all the wrong ways. I'm not laughing because it makes me feel something, I'm laughing because holy shit, that dude's trying to suck his own dick and he can't reach!
