Old people people who grew up on bland meat and potatoes and see flavor as "spiciness" often dictate what is made at Thanksgiving, and yes, it sucks. Grease-beans and dry ass turkey suck, but they're what has to be had at Thanksgiving unless you want pappy and granny to have a fit.

Mac n cheese isn't a Thanksgiving food, and I'm willing to bet most of these people eat fucking Kraft mac and don't even put beans in it.

These beans mixed in Kraft mac is amazing. It's still not thanksgiving food, and it's trashy, but it's good.
