My dad was a cop. I remember when I was little we would always tell me to sit where you could see the door. He would play games with me like "where are all the exits" and "how many security cameras are there here". I remember being taught about clearing rooms, and always seeing who is in a room when you enter it. Now I give off this sort of vibe as a result of years of imprinting. It really does not help hide the autism when you have been conditioned to sit in specific locations and count cameras everywhere you go.

The first two are generally good ideas and the last is at least fun if not strictly necessary. You should avoid going anywhere you don't know how you're getting out.

Not so much in restaurants, but in really crowded places everybody should probably do those things. If the population keeps going up, getting crushed by crowds will eventually be a pretty common cause of death. Real crowd crush, like at that one awful concert fire. In times like those it'd really pay to have noticed an exit that most people didn't.

I use to be a normal kid and wear shitty sneakers. My Jr year of HS my shoes whore out and I did not have money to get new ones. I found an old pair of steel toe combat boots in the burn pile outside my house my dad through out. I liked them and ever since I have worn boots.
