Neither, it's a MO disk of some kind. Popular in Japan but that's about it so most western people's only encounter with them is probably as items in a video game. Off the top of my head I remember them being in Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid. Well, the minidisc counts as well but that format didn't do great in the west and it didn't have that large chunky feel like PD disk.I can't tell if thats a zip or a jazz drive. They both were faster than floppy but slower than hdd. Jazz were basically slightly worse removable hard drives. Theres a reason once cdr came out they were instantly obsolete except for specific edge cases. It doesnt help that a dead disk acted like a virus and killed drives, which if you put a good disk in would get corrupted and kill any drive it was put in.
