I legit had a tin of that in the family box of random shoe care stuff, when it ran out without clocking the name I went to the cobler (this was circa 1999) an didn't clock the name an guy chuckled said "keep that lid" an handed me a tin of the new stuff, exactly the same just renamed, the tin I had was from the 40's an still worked wonders.

That shops still going and the owners in his 90's and is still the best cobler an key cutter I've ever met, guy lives of Tea, Bacon buttys and about 15 pints of mild in the local pub, I often just go into the shop just to say hello to him as he's one of those old boys who's nice to chat with and is a decent human being. Next to his shop the local school has a libary open to the public an do lots of stuff like tool shares, courses etc all free to access an he buys them stuff an gives lessons etc When I was in my teens he showed me how to do a Clinch Stich for fixing the soul of a shoe to the upper because he saw me watching him fix a pair of my shoes an was interested enough to ask questions, an when my mums been in asked about me an the family by name.

Blokes like that are a endangers species, so I always show up with a cup of Tea (white with a half sugar) an a sandwich for him and a friends "What's up Tommo".

In the UK he doesnt do that, I think he's even on record saying something like "Yea I have nothing to do with that it was part of my American contract for TV at the time" I think he doesnt like it and he can veto certain things but to get on the networks in the US he had to give options for foods etc and to also play up his angry persona - if you see him IRL he's kinda chilled out and is more encouraging of armatures doing stuff and only really get's sweary when a professional setting is going to shit or not acting professional, he's also really really protective of kids - not just his own but he's got a reputation for it, he's also BIG into prison rehab as well he runs a program for people released from prison who are trying to reform and leave that behind but he won't take people fucking around and if you drink or use drugs at work he fires you no second chances.

A kid I was in primary school had this, he had a cleft pallet and it impacted his nasal development and had a ballon installed under his armpit to grow some skin to let them use that for grafts, he had the operation over the summer we moved from Primary to Secondary and honestly you couldn’t tell unless you heard him talk where he had a bit of a weird distortion an he could control that apart from if he was shouting or upset. Honestly I hope that kid had a good life an it's fixed for him before he meets some dickhead to turns it into a thing.
