That's insanely overkill for a single hamster, not saying that the smallest habitat at Petsmart is appropriate but I was expecting a half dozen of one of the more sociable breeds. Or that he was going to start playing Warhammer with it.

Anyway, guinea pigs exist so hamsters can't take the crown for most neglected. How many chucklefucks have you seen with a single guinea pig in a small cage when they are a herd animal. Rats/mice are up there too but thankfully normies tend to avoid them and their social nature is a big part of the draw.
