So many big tech companies think they can just throw a ton of money at the gaming market and be guaranteed success by birthright and it almost never works. Apple, Phillips, Nokia, Google, all total failures because they couldn't be bothered to understand what actually appeals to gamers. The only non-gaming companies to ever successfully break into the console market are Sony and Microsoft and they're still fighting for a distant second place behind Nintendo.
