I agree, but the secret is that modern "nerds" aren't really nerds, they're the wannabe losers in the Yearbook committee and that the real Nerds and Jocks have always had a symbiotic relationship. They've simply begun to merge, before Jocks helped the savable Nerds become more social in exchange for better grades, now they've taught the Nerds to lift.
