What's that from?
Issue 6 of Dean Motter's indie comic series "Mister X", a somewhat surreal series that had various up and coming alt-comix artists illustrate it, like Jaime Hernandez, Gilbert Hernandez, and this particular issue, Seth. The setting is a dystopian municipality called Radiant City, it's design inspired by the Bauhaus art movement, Art Deco and Fritz Lang's Metropolis. The protagonist, Mr. X, claims to be one of the original architects of the city and believes his theories of "psychetecture" that he incorporated into his designs have been driving the citizenry mad, like he went. Of course, he feels he can't afford to sleep while he tries to undo the damage, so he keeps taking a drug that keeps him awake almost all day.

".. Go through that quest and tell me where the FUCK does it say to cut down grass to get crickets!"

Uh..... Basic Logic? God help her if she plays something like this:

Where you have to look up bible verses for answers to a quest... In the first area of the game.
I mean.. BotW really doesn't make anything obvious. The physics and fire interactions are there but if you've seen it showcased pre-release, you've seen 40% of the times it'll be used. There are great physics games that constantly remind you of such interactions, but BotW is so fucking busted you need to be an absolute Nintendo consoomer to rate it above 7/10.

Nevermind that durability ruins the combat. In a combat game. And how armor is additive. Getting beat up? One new piece of armor, you now take 3 heart pieces less damage per hit. Absolute degeneracy.

The fact that BOTW got rated so highly says more about modern gaming then anything. I think most people were just tired of being spoonfed all the time, on what problems to solve and how to solve them. Botw was no masterpiece but it atleast forced you to turn on your brain sometimes.
