Seriously, the built-in skip-10-seconds button is literally perfectly devised to skip ad-reads, and it doesn’t even hurt the creator because they’ve already been paid for that sponsorship. Hear an ad read starting? Just spam it 5-6 times and repeat til the actual content starts.

4.99 here, 9.99 there, you don't see it adding up till the bill hits then you realize you spent a small bundle on pixels that mean jack shit. Plus it's the competition and rivalry that helps keep you going. If it weren't for the social aspect I woulda quit sooner.

Happens to most folks with disposable income, Candy Crush is still racking in HUNDREDS of millions a year and that's a variation on Connect-4.

Use any excuse to subject others to the same shit Cable TV had any time an anticipated episode of any series airs.
 
So where would a company stand on someone like Internet Historian? He's clearly taking the piss and veering wildly off course, but they still throw money at him. Is it some sort of "all publicity is good" thing or what?
 
Sponsorships for a mobile game? Yeah mobile gaming sucks with all it's microtransaction infested trash.

I'd assume so, its the anti-advertisement advertisement. Sort of like the ones Bill Hicks would do talking about how evil and awful Christianity is. And then he would talk about how wonderful jews were, especially his friends Jeffrey Epstein and Harvey Weinstein. And how Christianity is full of morons who hate Israel and how all the cool atheists like him give all their spare money to israel. And how if he had a kid he would want them to have a drag queen read books to them. And how white people are evil.

Ashens kept getting sponsored by Lootcrate despite his show calling them out when the boxes were genuinely crappy (which was almost always).

I guess those two have really engaged audiences and would be more likely to drive traffic than any other small Youtuber with a fraction of their subs

I played this for about a week maybe 5 or so months ago. Reminded me why I almost never play mobile games. Every checkmark ticked off: start out by dumping tons of goodies on newbies, makes gaining traction ridiculously easy for awhile until you hit the paywall. Then it's almost impossible to get further without spending tons of money. Free to play and people only looking to spend $5 or $10 are screwed while the autistic whales pay hundreds/thousands to curb stomp everyone else. Skill at the game? Fuck skill! Don't need skill when they have mommy's credit card!

Just like 99% of all other mobile games. Nothing to see here.
 
I'd like to point out that there's a google chrome app that's been designed to skip these things. Unlock adblock it doesn't hurt the youtuber, they're already been paid to shill out.

Why would i care if it hurts the youtuber or not maybe they should get a job and do youtube part time its not on me to watch ads and install all these random apps and programs they want so they can get rich or them begging you donate to their shitty patron
