I searched through a few random threads, and found this glorious ignorance. Arab states have "little fascist ideology" compared to (((Israel))).

https://www.reddit.com/r/ShitLibera...ing_the_state_of_israel_makes_you_an/dpmbhdd/

Syria may have hired ex-Nazi Alois Brunner to help with their state terror, Egypt may have hired Otto Skorzeny, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem may have been a Nazi sympathiser, and Iraq may have attempted to revolt and join the Axis in 1941, but nothing can ever be more fascist than one of the few democracies in the region.

Democracy is fascism to them. Toss in Israel as one of the few reliable American allies in the region, and people have a reason to hate on them for wanting to exist.

Here's some more Venezuelan apologist bollocks. What a hill to die on.

Meanwhile there's an active civil war in Colombia and Colombia is behind Venezuela on every statistic except for GDP. But nobody mentions that.

Colombia, with its "active civil war" (low level insurgency in which one guerrilla group signed a peace deal last year), is apparently doing worse than Venezuela at EVERYTHING except GDP.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_life_expectancy

Colombia 74.8

Venezuela 74.1

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_intentional_homicide_rate

Colombia 26.50 per 100,000

Venezuela 57.15 per 100,000

When you have a shorter life expectancy and higher homicide rate than a country in an "active civil war", you might need to reconsider your government system.

Colombia is actually getting pretty agitated at Venezuela because the chaos there is starting to destabilize some of the border regions they just got under control.

The Colombian president refused to recognise the constituent assembly Venezuela formed this year in response to the ruling party losing its majority in the previous National Assembly. It's funny to see SLS claim it's not a dictatorship when they're desperately trying to work round the fact that most of their citizens hate them and won't vote for them.

People want to get to Colombia from Venezuela because stores actually have things in stock there, but obviously that brings spillover of Venezuelan gangs. No one likes having awful neighbours that spread trouble outside their borders.

Recently there were peaceful protests in Hong Kong by those who are wary of Beijing's increased power over the country. These Hong Kongers would like to be completely independent and have increased ties with Western countries.

/r/shitliberalssay freaked out over the idea of Asians not sucking commie cock and advocated gunning down the "traitorous scum."

The people in that thread know nothing about Hong Kong. The only reason why that country exists is because Chinese people go there to buy name brand shit without paying outrageous excise taxes.

Everyone but the fucking Amish uses Amazon, what are they on about? It's as dumb as saying McDonalds caters to furries because some chick with cat ears went there once.

They are far-right compared to /r/shitliberalssay. Which isn't saying much.

All this talk of Venezuelan apologist reminds me of an argument a friend of mine had on a Discord server. He was trying to discuss the inherent issues with central planning, and the other guy was pulling the usual "well they just did it wrong" excuse. So, my friend asked him how the inflation of the Bolivar should be handled, and his response was "I'd establish a currency backed by a commodity - perhaps a staple grain."

It's insane how bad Venezuela apologists are at economics.

You'd have to be to be an apologist in the first place.

What kind of idiot thinks you should base a currency on a consumable? Also it's a moot point since they don't have any fucking food, either.
