IrbyTremor, resident psychotic racebaiting violence promoting nutcase mod, is making an entirely sensible point: If Brexit passed when the left thought it impossible, Donald Trump becoming president may not be as far fetched and we need to be serious about preventing it at the ballot box.

The other responses to this cry for "let's take our politics on this side of the pond more seriously in light of how it wasn't for our British counterparts to prevent our own undesired result" is a bunch of head in the sand idiocy.

I repeat, IrbyTremor, normally a fucking lunatic, is the sane one in this thread.

A funny thing happens when you tell a third of the country, "You get nothing, fuck you, but vote for us anyway." They don't vote for you. It's the logical result of writing off everyone who doesn't agree with you hard enough as being not worth the effort of reaching out to. Why are people constantly surprised that telling Trump supporters, "You're literally voting for Hitler, you fucking racist idiots?" isn't changing anyone's mind? Is diplomacy really that dead?

I went and read that resource they had for victims of SJW. I agree with it for the most part, like where it said to not resign, accept fate, etc, but I disagree on the part about "make the rubble bounce". Firing SJWs under you or insubordination over their views will only invite lawsuits/more severe shit and give the SJW side more ammo to claim oppression points.

Reading that stuff always makes me worry going outside. It feels like everyone who isn't considered "normal" (read: white, straight, cis, male) will be bullied just because they're not "normal". Those people who have been made fun of just for existing...
