why don't they look to join a club or something, do something extracurricular like everyone else does. School isn't a surefire way to make friends, you have to make the effort, and by the looks of minty they're not making much effort. I wonder what kind of abuse they claim to experience, not to shit on non-physical/sexual abuse cause its definitely a thing, but you have to work on your own to help yourself when stuck in a situation like that. Also therapy is a confidential setting, iirc just because you are underage doesn't mean your parents have to go with you, it just means if your therapist is concerned for your wellbeing your legal guardian should be informed. When you hit legal age, they no longer have the option of calling your parents on you which is a big deal for a lot of people who don't want their family involved- it's like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow lol. Minty should be able to say to their therapist "i don't want my mother in here," without any trouble, unless it's their mother that is insisting on being in there with them, in which case I can kind of believe the abusive family rhetoric but it's still not an excuse. You have to be assertive in these situations, if your family are overly controlling then you have to decide to take care of yourself and say fuck this. Having a therapist is a good start- they can help you with that, Minty just needs to stop being a whiny bitch and help themselves. No point being so woke about your situation but doing fuck all about it.

Also parent worshipers what the fuck lmao? What even is that? Parents can suck, look at the threads for the Schofields or Margaret Palermo, but you're 13 for fucks sake (also, i really hope they're (biologically) male, cause if they're 13 and on testosterone for transitioning then :c ). Everyone in that chat was asking them to be specific about what has happened to them and they avoided it like the plague. Just spill it, those people are trying to be your friends but you're sitting there saying i can't go and make any friends irl cause weeeeh. You wanna get better? and not even by name, because I searched the thread and couldn't find it by name (unless I'm retarded and missed it), but there's a subreddit called r/yescompanionimbecil, that Kirbizia created, with even more dramawhoring and hugboxing. Kirbizia is still physically unable to take Lunar out of their mouth. I'm pretty sure this whole subreddit was made out of pure spite (or at least that's it's purpose now. It says the sub is 7 months old).

If you see something interesting there make sure to FUCKING ARCHIVE IT. There are 17.4k subscribers on the subreddit, and Kirbizia claims they're going to shut it down when it reaches 20k. I'm pretty sure they're just going to close submissions, and not the subreddit entirely, but do it anyway to be sure. It's mostly an autistic shitposting sub with constant hugboxing in the comments, but occasionally retarded dramawhoring pops up.

Just as an aside, Reddit Gold is a bigger retard tax than the lottery. Imagine paying money to show someone "appreciation" for their stupid fucking posts on the Internet. Mind you, not content like what Metokur or even Ralph Retort make, but posts. And all the poster gets in return is a barely upgraded version of Reddit. It's so stupid.

The only way it could get more retarded is if Reddit gave a portion of the money to the actual poster. That would make Reddit as a platform significantly more intolerable to use.
