What I want to know is how is doxxing a threat for most people? Like in the rules of the farms is recommends you don't associate yourself with other names etc because posting on this site alone could be enough for people to try to use it against your employer etc. But these people, what's the big spook with someone knowing your real name? Are you hiding something? If your community is so innocent then what's wrong.

Kiwis stay anon so they can live a life away from the farms, it has a bad rep and people are happy to use your posting here alone as reason to try and get you fired despite the content of most of this forum being the highest levels of shit posting I've honestly ever seen. But people still try to ruin people's lives because they post here, when it's just a forum to talk about all the shit you all do in private anyway.

People who view being doxed as a bad thing tend to have something in their Internet history that they're ashamed of. Look at James Patrick O'Shaughnessy. He had his name and address released for the whole world to see, why isn't he incessantly whining on Twitter about it like Kel is?

Facebook normalized the practice of putting degenerate, disgusting crap next to your real name and where you were born. And now, nearly a decade later, people are facing repercussions for not being responsible.
