I'm assuming DD is Daisy's Destruction or some other shit created by sick fuck Peter Scully (who is thankfully rotting in Philippino prison now). If Josh is into that he's even worse than we thought. Absolutely deserves the rope.

I wonder how Boob and Meech will try to spin this.

I read somewhere that Jim-Boob wouldn't allow the kids to do the Counting On show unless HE was paid, just another way to keep those sweet TLC dollars coming in after the network canceled 19 and Counting.

I feel bad for the members of this family who AREN’T flaming dumpster fires. But what can any of them expect?

He felt up several underage girls including his own sisters as a teen and Mother and Father covered for him and put locks on the girls’ bedroom doors and excused him. It was just boys being boys and it’s fine.

He signed up for an infidelity dating service, cheated on his wife and they all prayed for him and forgave him and that fixed it and he’s still married. It was just a momentary weakness and it’s fine.

Now he’s looking at cp and thinking, “there are no real consequences. If I get caught, my parents will just tell everyone we’re going to pray the urges away. Like last time. They’re only videos, after all. It’ll be fine.”

The first indication it might not be fine is that in all the statements to the press that the Duggars have released about this, none of them claim that they think he’s innocent, only that they’re “saddened” by the charges. Even his own parents said:

“We appreciate your continued prayers for our family at this time. The accusations brought against Joshua today are very serious. Yeahhh, they know he’s guilty. They’re not going to waste the family’s dwindling riches on top-notch defence for poor Josh. “Whatever the court finds out, let’s just get this over with quickly” is not a stunning endorsement from one’s own parents.
 
So... 33 year old pervert father of 6 kids under 12 is going to be under house arrest with some friends of his enabling parents and anyone (inluding kids) can come by to visit him and he's allowed to go to church even though church is also attended by kids.

He's going to get away with everything and then some.
 
Yeah, the '3rd party' in charge of housing him are family friends, JimBob called them asking for a favor. The poor wife doesn't want to be alone in the home with him, but her husband is in charge of the household, so she has to go along with it.
The daughter teaches piano to children in the home, so that is having to be cancelled
They have multiple firearms, and no gun safe, so those will need to be moved off site.

It's a joke that these old, non-tech literate people, who didn't know the extent of his previous crimes of molesting his child sisters, are now in charge of this creep for the next 6 months or so until his trial
 
This is such garbage 🙄 if he wasn't well known in the fundie world, he'd be denied bail like every single other person.

Apparently one of the investigators said whatever it is, it's one of the worst CP videos they'd seen out of thousands of cases. So if it's not Daisy's Destruction, it's gotta be something similarly horrific.

That alone should've gotten him no bail. I hope everyone around him, including and especially Anna, knows that not only did he have CP, but he had some of the most fucked up CP in existence. That said I'm sure Boob is in overtime doing damage control and I doubt he'll allow Anna to know the full truth if he can help it.
