I've raised two boys and have a third thats still a toddler and I have never experienced any of them digging around in their diapers for shit. Or at least, they have never had shit sitting around in their diaper long enough for them to dig it out and play around with it.

Stop leaving your children standing around in soiled diapers and that shit wouldn't happen, you miserable, irresponsible, worthless "mother". Those poor fucking kids, man...

Beginning to think Karissa's husband might be as mentally ill and fucked in the head as she is.

They can't be assed to change their kids diapers til they end up in the PICU from a UTI, but they can have trampoline poop fights.

Also saw in the comments people discussing that the baby getting poop out of her diaper and leaving/smearing it everywhere points to the kid trying to communicate she needed a diaper change. So Karissa and her husband just leaving their kids in dirty diapers goes way back to when they only had like 3 kids.

I can see why people in FundieSnarkUncensored think Karissa is straight up dangerous, it's amazing none of her kids have died from infection alone.

Well, crap. We all thought that Josh was doing worse shit than was publicly revealed and we were right. There's a new documentary going to be released about the Duggars in the next couple weeks and it won't be pleasant. I'm mobile fagging right now so if someone can download/archive this that would be great.


Josh is definitely his parents' son. The older I get, the more I hope that Hell is real. If those three don't deserve eternal agony I don't know who does.

You can't argue their faith controls and oppresses women and equally yoke Meech with responsibility, but yes, this is equally Jim Bob's fault as much as it is Josh's.

By the girls' accounts, Meech was a good mother and Jim Bob has been a historically poor head of household. I believe them.

My dude, about six months ago, an article from India hit the international news: an Indian woman, who caught her boyfriend raping her young teenage daughter, did the right thing by her daughter and all the other potential victims of his and cut his dick off.

That's an example of a good mother.

Meech told her daughters that they were sluts and that they were worthless in comparison to their rapist and to lie through their teeth about him abusing them for years so their parents could rake in the cash.

Even in an oppressive society, a good mother protects her children. She doesn't actively source new victims for him to abuse... even if he is her son.

I agree a good mother protects her children, and by all standards, the Indian woman defending her daughter is a good mother.

I have never seen anything where Merch called her daughters sluts, although I have seen where she pressured them to keep the secret. She isn't guiltless, but if her daughters can forgive her, so can I. What Meech did compared to Josh or Jim Bob seems small. Meech doesn't have the same skills someone like you does, so everything is so much harder. She doesn't believe humanity is good and on a larger scale representative of the goodness of God. It's also very possible she has real fears or concerns. Consider what I'm saying. It's not like I have a reputation as a bleeding heart feminist who always "believes all women."
 
You can be both a victim and an abuser/abuse enabler. I think Meech falls solidly in that category. She's no doubt a victim of abuse from her nasty husband and culture, but she still enabled her daughters to be abused and didn’t protect them or even report it.
 
I can see where both are coming from. Dud is a pretty big pacifist that is on the side of whatever the victims do, so if they forgive their abusers, he likely will, too. At the same time, I fully agree meech is a terrible mother and more needs to be done.
I'm in the middle, the girls deserve justice, but not at the price of their mental health. you gotta remember, in court, defense attourneys ask extremely invasive answers that often trigger the victims. They're also in an oppressive religion that already blames victims, and defense attourneys often insinuate blame or have a line of questioning similar to people in their religion.
I don't like it, but I understand why. No matter how small the likelihood, people lie about stuff like this. That isn't to say I think the Duggar girls are lying, they just don't deserve that brutal skepticism that's inevitable in these cases.
 
Unfortunately, the time to do what needed to be done was decades ago. Boob and Meech should've reported it to authorities and gotten Josh actual therapy as soon as they learned what was happening. Who knows whether that could've prevented him from committing sex crimes as an adult, but it would've been better than what they actually did.

The least they could do know is stop denying what he did and try to make amends to his victims.

I would disagree that sitting on our hands saying it's too late to do anything is the way. The now grown women involved can have justice. Josh doesn't need therapy. He needs to repent and ask for forgiveness, and accept his own punishment with grace and reflection. Yes, God can do that if Josh will let Him.

We can't undo the past, but we get to choose our futures.

Unfortunately at this point I think Josh is a lost cause and will continue to be a danger if he's allowed around people he can harm.

Meech and Boob could at least apologize to their daughters for failing to protect them and forcing them to downplay what happened. As well as admit Josh is guilty of what he's in prison for, that's its not a Biden conspiracy or whatever the fuck Boob is trying to tell people. And make sure he's never around children ever again.
