Real talk though, these cases are always terribly fascinating to watch unfold.
Take this guy. He was not just lusting after children, he seems to believe that he was entitled to them in a weird way. This seems to be common with pedos, they feel as if they are in the right by having the single most universally reviled things on their hard drives. Not above the law, but that the law is wrong or something.
It's why these cases are always insane to follow, if I remember right Josh (no relation) was very savvy with computers, knew how they found him, stuff like that. I'm essentailly mentally disabled, so I don't know the whys and shit, but all I know is that pedos never seem to be 'just' into kiddy porn, but in every way the most deplorable humans on Earth.

Might have to do with them being attracted to people who just literally cannot physically have sex in any way that isn't excruciatingly painful and hazardous to their health.

I think you should, otherwise you're talking bullshit. In antiquity, People didn't care about age. Women were married off as early as 9 or 10. If you're going to be morally outraged, you should at least 'try' to be correct.
 
Thank fucking christ that the jury were able to see this for what it is: an incredibly open and shut case of pedo.

I'm nervous about sentencing. If the plea deal was for 10 years I'm hoping for a bit more than that, at least 15 so that even if he gets time off for good behaviour (and he probably will, I don't see him causing trouble amongst the pedos he'll be housed with), he'll have served 10-12 years. It would be amazing to see him get 20 years or more. I just want the punishment to actually fit the crime.

I can't imagine what Anna is going through right now. I know most people here don't have a lot of sympathy for her, and I don't have much either, but I do think she's going through hell right now and it sucks that her support system is JB and Michelle.

More than anything I feel bad for Smuggar and Anna's kids. They didn't sign up for any of this. It's kind of a good thing they are homeschooled because life at a public school would be hell for them with this going on.

That’s one of the reasons why I pretty much decided that Satan was a better option.

That being said, I didn’t realize that Josh could get up to 40 years. I thought it was 20. Hopefully, it’s a long time. As for his wife, I can only say that denial is a strong emotion and that these women are forced to depend on the men around them. So, it would be difficult for them to do anything.
