Josh Duggar has been ordered to provide an alibi and witnesses. I'm sure jimboob will try to find other credible dumb folks from church like Josh's babysitters to try to save his ass. I Wana see him get caught for bribes Lol or other family members speaking out when they won't protect their brother.

Legalkiwis question :So if the cops won't return his phone and laptop, then what does that mean for proving an alibi? Like what if your schedule is on there or he has to check text msgs or whatever to determine one's own whereabouts on any given day?

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — Josh Duggar has been ordered to provide an alibi and witnesses as a defense before his child pornography case goes to trial in November.

A federal judge is asking him to provide specific places where he was during the time of the alleged offenses.

This comes just a week after Duggar's request to have the case dismissed was denied.

Duggar, who appeared in TLC's "19 Kids and Counting," was charged in April with two counts of downloading and possessing child pornography.

Duggar is back in court again on November 18 for pre-trial, and a jury trial is scheduled for November 30.

Those are considered to be extremely sensitive pieces of evidence, so it's obviously an good idea to give him a chance to wipe everything that's on it so he can deny that there's no CP on it.

So all that's left is interviewing his family, co-workers, and security footage.
 
Jill Dillard had a miscarriage.

Up until now, she'd been the only one of her married sisters not to have one. She is also the only one who has genuinely broken away (she goes to therapy and sends her kids to public school, expects to get paid for working, uses birth control, etc) and isn't let into her parents' home without a chaperone as a result (though Josh was up until the arrest). Both of her other pregnancies and births were difficult (not that this stopped Daddy Dearest from shoving a camera in her face during them).

Even though I really hate some of her and Derick's beliefs, I have a genuine soft spot for her. 2021, much like her family, has been especially unkind to her. Even though she's had difficulty before, the stress and trauma the latest Josh bullshit CANNOT have helped. I can't imagine being a pregnant woman and having the face of my relative/abuser splashed everywhere and hearing that he's only gotten worse.

I have a childhood friend get convicted and he was sentenced to 6 years in Wi. We weren't friends for several years before the bust but was still a surprise to read about it in the papers. I learned that the jurors do see the pics/vids, he tried claiming she was 18 but just looked like an underage Russian porn star, I looked her up back then but can't remember her name now. I believe he had like 6 to a dozen photos of her alone and his lawyer I think got them thrown out, but there were at least a dozen other images he had.

Idiot downloaded it right from a darkwrbsite that of course cops monitor and they were knocking on his door evening same day. He was ordered not to have computer internet etc when he posted bail next day. Dumbass walked right into Best buy the next day in his small town to buy a new setup, a worker recognized him and called the cops, so he got an additional 2years for bail jumping to his sentence for that.

The remaining dozen+pics were shows to the jury, according to the papers clearly depicted children under 12 performing sex acts on adults. I know the feds keep cp stuff so they can trace where/when/who made it, names of the victims, etc, and I believe something was used in his trial that the feds were familiar with this material in that sense as evidence. I mean, unless u claim Photoshop, that description of ujlnderagers seems Very clear, they weren't teens by any sense, they were kids. I think the youngest was 6. don't believe there was little boy cp but some girls were menioned. I assume whether it was same sex cp or not the charges would be the same.

He was convicted in '15 and was out in '19, but I don't know why because bailjumpjng was added for 2more years so I'm not sure why he was out soon.

In the event that the feds aren't familiar with that material, then it is solely up to the jury to decide if indeed it's cp? Can they argue Photoshop or AI at all these days? They'd have to get computer experts to testify I assume? I'm not techie but wondering what angle Josh can possibly use to try to get out of this .

Ya no shit , can his attorneys ask for his personal files that aren't cp or for supervised access? What if he wants pics of his kids... something innocent until proven guilty, and we know the duggars always gonna push rules because theyre loaded fundie royalty, and have proven they can. the men are rich and bossy and always get their way like rich spoiled brats.

The judge would know the nature of the cp and the approx ages and sexes of the abused, correct? Is judge Christy Comstock not familiar with DD? My major wasn't psych but something else and DDcame up in my college classes more than once. It's unbelievable he got bail and ankle monitor and house arrest ,(except for medical working church) AND access to his kids if in fact he had all of DD.

I hope the Keller's that aren't religious nutjobs (like her brother) step in to really be good support for her kids once Josh is in prison.

I would say "parole" but then again, he skipped bail by being an idiot. But some prisons occasionally let people out early if they're well-behaved. Hopefully your former friend has learned his lesson.
