The Queen spent Wednesday night in hospital for preliminary medical checks and is now back at Windsor Castle, Buckingham Palace has said.
The 95-year-old monarch returned from hospital at lunchtime on Thursday and is "in good spirits", the palace added.
The Queen was said to be "disappointed" after cancelling a visit to Northern Ireland on Wednesday.
She was given medical advice to rest for a few days, after a busy schedule of public engagements.
In a statement on Thursday night, Buckingham Palace said: "Following medical advice to rest for a few days, the Queen attended hospital on Wednesday afternoon for some preliminary investigations, returning to Windsor Castle at lunchtime today, and remains in good spirits."
The Queen was seen by specialists at the private King Edward VII's Hospital in central London, about 19 miles (32km) from Windsor. Her admittance is understood not to be related to coronavirus.
The overnight stay was said to be for practical reasons and the Queen was back at her desk undertaking light duties on Thursday afternoon.
The King Edward VII's is a private hospital in London's Marylebone used by senior royals, including the Queen's husband, the late Duke of Edinburgh, who received treatment there earlier this year.
It has been a busy period of official engagements for the Queen.
She was pictured hosting a Global Investment Summit at Windsor Castle on Tuesday evening alongside Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
An official record of the Queen's diary showed at least 15 other formal events during October.
On Wednesday, a Buckingham Palace spokesman said the monarch had "reluctantly accepted medical advice to rest for the next few days".
He said the Queen was "disappointed that she will no longer be able to visit Northern Ireland" - which would have involved an overnight stay.
She is expected to lead a royal delegation to the Glasgow COP26 climate change summit in two weeks' time.
Earlier this week, the Queen declined a magazine's award of Oldie of the Year, saying "you are only as old as you feel".
She "politely but firmly" turned down the award, but sent the Oldie magazine a message with her "warmest best wishes".

Just a preliminary thread for now, but it's worth keeping an eye on, pretty sure this was how it started with Philip...

She can't die yet.

I have money riding on her sending herself a congratulations card when she reaches 100.
You fucked up then son. I already said earlier 2/23/2022 at approximately 7:00pm GMT. You can take that to the bank.

Why kick out the English only to become the English though? All these parties have become the very thing they swore to destroy.
Much of this is due, in no small part, to years of leftist programming of the Irish citizenry courtesy of Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTE: the main television and radio service).

During the Cold War and the Troubles, the Soviets sent a lot of agents into Ireland to promote leftist forms of nationalism in order to subvert traditional Irish nationalism. In the 70s, they had agents working at RTE who were admittedly trying to include Marxist brainwashing in children shows. But there is more to the Irish embrace of leftist political positions than Marxist television shows. The Soviet Union saw an opportunity to open another political and military front on the United Kingdom’s back doorstep.

The Marxist-inspired, cultural revolution of the 1960s did not hit the Irish the same way it hit other areas of the United States and Europe. Catholicism still played a strong, defining role in Irish society. Thus, while other Western women could not have sex with enough men fast enough, Irish society stayed largely, culturally grounded. But the narrative of oppressor and oppressed returned to the conversation, with imagery of fellow Irish citizens marginalized and eventually killed on national television just North of the border. Marxist messengers pounced – and unlike the empty, Marxism of modern globalist movements around the world – the Marxist messaging of 1960s and 70s Ireland was intertwined with nationalism ... but the anti-colonial kind.

In 1962, the Marxist Thomas Gill became president of Sinn Féin, and was one of the people who moved the party to the left during the 1960s. In 1969, Sinn Féin split over promotion of Marxism and Gill remained leader of Official Sinn Féin.

Interview with former PIRA Chief of Staff, Joe Cahill, on his opposition to Marxism being promoted in the Republican movement and why they split from the Marxist leadership over the issue:

Provisional Sinn Féin and the Provisional Irish Republican Army emerged in 1969 as a split took place within the irregular IRA; the Provos were initially the traditional republican faction which didn't want Marxist influence in the movement (the Official IRA were explicitly Marxist), but by the late 80s the Provos themselves began to become more Marxified, though it has always included a variety of political views. Ivor Bell and Brian Keenan were main Marxism pushers in the PIRA. They developed links to the communist GRU (military intelligence of the Soviet Union) and Stasi.

Ireland has only one genuinely nationalist party that stands for traditional Irish nationalism and republicanism – the National Party. They have no qualms proudly saying that only Irish people (including the diaspora) are Irish due to their blood alone and that these immigrants cannot and never will be Irish.

That is both informative and horrifying. It appears as though the West will never escape the damage the USSR caused through the employment of actively subversive agents.

Actively resenting one of your children because they're a reminder of your mortality and will be your replacement someday is weird. All children are reminders of their parents' mortality. Unless something tragic happens, your children will outlive you, and if you've done your parental job right they will go on to be productive members of society after you die. Surely there's another reason for the friction between Charles and his Mum.

Some Hollywood rag claims she's dropped.
Cancelled virtual appointments.
Dark suits on BBC tonight.

This may be it boyos....

I don’t know why you would hide the news. You aren’t gonna trot out the corpse Weekend at Bernie’s style I guess you have to wait a few hours for decorum’s sake to prepare statemen and inform the illuminati/Moloch or whatever but it shouldn’t take until tomorrow

It'll wait until the morning just because you'll get maximum exposure amongst the public. Breakfast TV is extremely popular in the UK.

Also it will give Charles time to prepare his address at 6pm and Boris time to fart around and dither.

Well dammit I’m too adhd to wait that long someone leak a picture of her corpse
