You are the wrongest person in the history of humanity, and there are people out there who have masturbated to Christine.

On topic, Alien Trilogy still holds up as a genuinely creepy FPS.

I love the PS1, but a lot of it is nostalgia, I can admit that for younger generations there isn't a whole lot that is really worth it if you have no nostalgic attachment.

Save for the Konami trilogy, Symphony of The Night, Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill, those are all games that stand the test of time.

But if you're interested in some underrated 3D platformers for the console I've always been a fan of the second and third Gex games, especially the third game.

The second game is a little wonky, but I'll go to bat for the third game as being a genuinely good little 3D platformer.

Alien Resurrection?
No one should play an FPS or RTS game on a console

Silhouette Mirage, the game that everyone passed by due to its awful boxart and publisher's insistence on removing the Treasure logo from the front cover.

Do you like difficult sidescrolling run-and-guns, branching paths, boss rushes with really fucking weird boss designs and janky-ass translations that completely miss out on biblical references? This is the game for you. If you've got fond memories of Gunstar Heroes on the Genesis (or Mischief Makers on the N64) all three run on variants of the same engine and if you like one you'll like the others.
I really miss Treasure.

Dino Crisis 1 and 2. 1 is a good survival horror game, but maybe overly slow at times. 2 does a genre shift and is a great action game.
In Cold Blood is a an adventure game i really enjoyed

Also yes, as certified boomer we called it PSX. The VIDEO GAME MAGAZINE INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX needed at least a 3 letter abbreviation to fit into their HOT RELEASES list format. The obviously choice was X, because X is eXtreme. Everything was EXTREME back then, not like today, where mediocrity is encouraged and extremism is something to be feared.
