PS5 release date confirmed, holidays 2020 - And of course they're ripping off Nintendo again

One of the reasons Microsoft is so wary about console exclusives came from their acquisition of Rare. Considering most of the best games on N64 were made by Rare: Goldeneye, Perfect Dark. Donkey Kong 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day. So Microsoft is thinking that Rare can work that same magic on their new console...so we get Kameo, Grabbed by the Ghoulies, Banjo-Kazooie Nuts and Bolts, Perfect Dark Zero. Flop after flop. In the end Rare was making the xbox avatar program and some kinect games; they even ended up selling Donkey Kong back to Nintendo.
Microsoft is scared of console exclusives because the ones they've tried either burn out (Scalebound) or get tired and overdone(Halo).
 
Yeah I'm not getting this.

This generation was so underwhelming, Bloodborne being the one game this generation that I flat out loved, that I just moved to PC. And even then I'm kinda disappointed.

Monster Hunter World's sequel will be a PS5 exclusive and come out years later on PC.

MS thought they owned Donkey Kong for 24 Hours after they bought Rare. But no they were wrong and the executives made a mistake.
 
I dunno, it seems that there's no point in getting a PS5 unless you really like those cinematic dad simulator games. weeb games are the only reason I buy playstations. I mean almost every weeb game now is being released on PC. fricking SRW V has been released on Steam and I am enjoying it. weeb games might be delayed release on PC, but I have a patience of a saint.

I might only buy it if its hackable

PC doesn't allow you to hug your games before you go to bed.

Also Sakura Wars isn't slated to come to PC and if it is it's going to be after 2022.

Like I said, I have the patience of a saint.

And I don't know about Sakura Wars. I really only enjoyed 1 and 2, the series became really pants on head retarded starting with 3, and never stopped since. I might get it if it gets like Zettai Zetsumei Toshi (people still dumbfounded by Death Stranding should play this so they can grasp what kind of game Deaths Stranding is) series or Natsuiro High School game again but will wait for the inevitable slim version or jailbreak.

I don't think Death Stranding is going to play like Disaster Report. They're both 3rd person adventure games but they have entirely different gameplay systems at work.
 
Sadly, I'll probably going to be getting the PS5 eventually so I can buy the next GTA game when it comes out.

I'm simply unable to afford PC gaming. Even if I "built my own gaming PC", I still wouldn't be able to afford a PC that could play any current-gen or next-gen games. The only interest I have in PC gaming is with emulation of older games.

As much as I hate Sony, I'm pretty much stuck with them since Microsoft is the far greater of two evils, Nintendo has a lot of technical limitations, and PC gaming is overpriced as fuck.

Nintendo only seems to make under-powered gimmick consoles and had poor third-party support until their newest efforts with the Switch.

Unless you like kiddie games, then Nintendo is not the company to go with as long as they're making gimmick consoles.
