Upon skill 3-2 usage riensang mask drops and gets a furioso and ring hong gets 5/10 charge stack and forced to use closing time

Barring an ID as hilariously bad as ShiFaust, to me the last 'bad ID' was Beesault.
  1. conditional 148 max burn activation on a meursault ID in a post Lei Heng world
  2. no potency on skill2 when the entire ID's gimmick is shitting out permanent count on every coin
  3. less damage to sub-targets
  1. His S2 is admittedly the only "good" skill he has. And any ID with an Evade is always a good thing.
  2. His S3 does nothing before max spores AND it has fake attack weight (it only hits main target for the first 3 coins) but still has a 50% reduced final coin to sub-targets
  3. His max damage on max spore is 148 which is half of what Hengsault can do
  4. He's also generally just awful at applying status. Yeah he can get +3 count on every enemy on field with spores, but that's not really the hardest thing to do and its burn count, which is generally negligible where most if not every fight NEVER has you run out of burn count. His niche as an "aoe count support" was already fulfilled by IDs like Firefist & Dawnclair.
  5. His bleed side is also completely worthless (ironically while being better than his burn application)
  6. and the cherry on top? his pheromone status is locked to enemy kills and has no other way to be gained. You will never gain pheromone stacks in boss fights.
    Aromashu gets to whip out 3-4 attacks in the same turn by the way :stress:
Unless you're a newbab, you wouldn't ever run the ID outside of pierce lux, the only place he's fine in (even there he's pretty subpar as most other pierce IDs either do more damage like KoDya or have assist attacks like Ahabmael, Aromashu, Full Stop Duo and Allengor.)

I actually got curious about this and the Middle Counters in general, turns out that while clashable defense skills get clash power for every 3 levels above your target, non-clashable defense skills get base power. Middle Don's S3 has +3 offense level by default, then it gets up to +6 from its effect, a total of 18 from a resonance chain, so assuming that everything else is equal, Middle Don's counter efficiently tops out at 10 Base Power.
Although, even with her coin power conditional activated this gets her to a max roll of 26, but Offense Level also increases damage done and she gets Envy Damage up every time 3 of your allies gets hit. I think she might actually survive powercreep for a while just because of how strong it is.

I wouldn't be surprised if when we get a Non-alteration EGO for Queen Been it'll have a way of giving out Pheromone stacks. In that same vein, I wouldn't be surprised if we get Alternations for certain popular Abnos so we can have multiple Sinners wielding their EGO, on top of N Corp and LCE EGO. Just imagine it, we have 4 Magic Girls and 12 Sinners, that's 3 IDs for each Magical Girl.

I like this idea that in this dialogue chain if I answered “yes” to the BA question they would have gotten this disgusted look on their face and put me on the “do not approach” list
 
I got 11 turns on normal, and 13 on hard. Along with CrackPaus I fielded Effiedya to fufill a similar support role to Middlesault and it was actually pretty good. She does fufill the qualifications for an Envy-Res ID after all. (Envy skill + Envy defense skill)

It's like dealing with Mormon Missionaries when you tell them you drink coffee and have premarital sex. It might just be me being a tard but the new boss is ungodly hard, tons of damage you cannot do anything about either because of the unbreakables or the counters, is there a gimmick I'm missing? You can't even cheese it with Sinking because his counter is a negative coin and he'll fuck you up even harder. Even with the full Middle team + the Heishou team I barely beat the Normal difficulty. Rufo was a cakewalk compared to him.

I'm not even counting on Araya Ryoshu coming along to save it bros, he might just be that overtuned

I beat him in 16 turns (could have done it in 14 if Sinclair wasn't slower then Ricardo, could not stagger him because of it and got third of my heishou team wiped out.) by spamming Sinclair and corroded Hong Lu season 8 egos. Gluttony/rapture egos deal +100% damage in second part. First part can be comfortably done in 8 turns with full envy resonance middle team. With a little bit of luck you can do first part in 7 turns if your rolls are good. Second part is about spamming gluttony/rapture egos with 3-4 coins and praying that your mao ids will have their skill 3 after you get haste. If you lucky, you can activate IRA on maust, use here skill 3, than use Hong Lu skill 3 for another maust skill 3 for massive damage on Ricardo. Theoretically, you can get third maust skill 3 from assist defense, but it is probably very difficult to achieve.

Police Brutality Rodya is unironically one of those "Season One Niche" GOATS. You don't realize it until you get super deep into the weeds, but 3x paralyze is usually enough to guarantee the next person in line will win the clash, and it smooths out the curve of those first few clashes tremendously. She also has a speed that isn't dogshit, which is rare for season 1 ids.

Combine with the blunt spam triggering the coin bonuses, and she may actually have a place. Not a very large place but like, a 1 room studio apartment somewhere. Unlike 95% of the rest of the Season 1 00s.
