The gambler in me was stronger than the saver even though I prepared my shards for them, but thankfully it was not in vain as I got the Faust in the first 10 pull and Hong Lu on the 50th, which was exactly as many tickets as I had. Not bad.

Also, dunno if anyone is having trouble with deluge sinking and 20k mirror achievement, seems like t-corp Don made this super easy as with a few items was hitting 70k damage with a tremor team thats basic.

Kim realizing he fucked up and forgot to reveal why Ryoshu is such an artist despite her teachings with ring dad being the smallest impact a nursefather had on her. Literally every single nursefather was attacked, Valencia's relic half working, Rien lost an eye, Matthias lost an arm, Yoru lost her tongue. What did Callisto lose? A sword he spent 10 years on. Truly the best out of the worst still a 4/10 father figure. Upon more research she just destroyed the sword because she wanted to go down her own path not wielding anyone's sword which is in character.
Lesser painters are such mediocrities that they fail to recognize the beauty that lies in the grotesque. They do little beyond painting the hell reflected in their eyes and call that shallowness hell's beauty. Listen closely, because I won't afford you another long-winded lesson. Your art is an overcomplicated pile of definitions buried under symbols, caked in patchworks of empty shells. You and your art both talk too damn much. Excess is easy. Anyone can do it. For a bit I thought it was Ryoshu narrating to herself, but It's probably just a flash back to Callisto. His only problems were subjecting a child to liveleak videos on repeat and forcing his dream upon her.

Seeing how they talk to each other I do believe this isn't a flashback but more an inner monologue. Or someone like Lei Heng showed up and actually taught Ryoshu the ropes. Imagine Ring Maestro Tutor-Ryūnosuke Akutagawa.
Unless there's an artfag in the league of 9/Sovereigns of a Star and that's the one person connected to Ryoshu in the red or blue man group

Ah yes, this is the part 4 of her Canto we've all been waiting for! It's certainly better than pulling a Don 'rewrite' Quixote and never addressing all the elephants in the room. I'm actually surprised. If I recall from the 3rd Anniversary stream: Kim outlined that Ryoshu and Kira will fight a Finger guy (Probably Bloodfiend Elder related) while Hohenheim chats with Gregor and Sinclair about their transformations. So long as Ryoshu actually gets to be the focus and gets some meaningful development, I'll be happy enough with that. I'm cautiously optimistic.

I feel like the art piece with the pedals is from a new employee or smth. I don't recognize the art style. Also, my gut feeling says the final one has more bold outlines so it's probably a different guy

Would be funny if Ring is least featured because he was the only one that resembled a functional parent. A highly autistic parent with grim hobbies, but not one that did emotional/physical abuse.
 
Looking forward to 9.5 soon. I thought Ryoshu’s story was good, but it didn’t give us a lot of closure. And it was unrelentingly sad, even by PM’s standards, so I’m guessing they’ll lighten the mood slightly with this one too

Callisto was the least abusive out of the 5. Valencia was physical, Rien was absent, Yoru despised her, Matthias treated her like an item, Meanwhile Callisto forced his dreams upon Ryoshu. He is the lesser of all evils but still evil

They crammed all of ryoshus baggage and problems into the canto so they're gonna use the intervalo to get all their pent up comedy and slow moments. It will probably be like in canto 4 part 2 in mood

Other than forcing Ryoshu to make her own funktown videos his abuse seems to be more than he treated her as a colleague rather than family. His first instinct after Saru died from his spiral wounds was to turn the dog into a shitty knife that according to Hong's voicelines he realized the next morning that it fucking sucked as an art piece.
