100 rolls on the walpipi banner so far. It wasn't good.

After only getting two non-walpipi related EGOs (Ryoshu eyes and Heathcliff with a gun), I somehow got a walpipi roll that slapped me with Solemn Lament yisang dupe/50 yisang shards and latest one gave me Cavernous Wailing EGO for Hong Lu.

The only ID i actually get is Si branch Gregor, and even then thats from the 000 assured ticket that was given as anni gift which I decided to roll after experiencing the gacha I mentioned above.

Honestly it's nice to have more heishous since I just UT3 Hongyuan Lu and giving him a try with just Mao Faust, but now it means I have more heishous to levels and its gonna be a pain unless I made them as MD only squad (right now I have Si branch Rodya/Gregor, Mao Faust and You branch Sinclair for em heishous)
 
Used the 1300 for a roll on the Walp banner, had a monster roll. That’s 257 rolls for both ID’s and the ego. I pitied Ryoshu too, so there goes all that bonus thread.

So I ended up using the Anniversary ticket to pull Heishou Heathcliff, too, since the universe seemed to want me to get a Heishou, and the rooster seemed to be superior to all the others (I now have Hong Lu, Ishmael, Don, Heath, and Faust, and I’m going to use my boxes to dispense Outis and Ryoshu for a full team. Just need one more for a sub, and I can do the whole Heishou gimmick)

i do like the ui for it if anything, i dont see why they cant give us a way to inspect how a character actually looks outside of battle, just add an animation viewer to the game natively.

Did they decide on going with the lazy route of simply replacing with the already existing animations? IIRC when this skin system was initially teased, they said they were going to reanimate the skin to fit over the ID in a way that was unique.

Regardless I don't think I'll use this quite honestly. I really hope they'll add EGO skins, even if you can't use every EGO skin on every ID. I'd be fine if it was something like a Mircalla EGO skin exclusive for Bloodfiend Don. Could you imagine how sick that would be?

is it featured now? i hope null sees it if so, he could learn a thing or two from kim ji hoon about greed and getting money from his userbase. i realized the reason greed is not a sin in limbus is because its already used so much in the game that it would be redundant to have as a sin affinity and no sinner is needed to represent greed since the developer is already the epitome of it.

and regarding the important part of my message i still think its very jewish that they have locked facades behind uptie 4, the thread requirement doesnt actually bother me that much but locking it behind uptie 4 forces you to uptie useless sinners just to be able to use their facade which means that technically it does cost shards to use facades which is just such a high price to pay for an otherwise useless feature.

Standard sinking is fine. Egos from battle pass alone make the last few floors brain dead easy.

Any 6+ attack weight E.G.O. with 3 or 4 coins + Sharp Needle & Thread(Yearning-Mircalla Don, Great Trichiliocosm Yi Sang, corroded Tears of the Tarnished Blood Hong Lu, Crushbound Past Meursault and so on) is all you really need to beat 50 adv. even without Lunar Memory. Just don't pick non-focused battle floors past floor 12 and you should be fine.

Honestly, without lunar memory it becomes quite a slog. Took me 5 hours on mobile to finish my run with Heishou poise/rapture. I didn't use E.G.O. and completed all floor specific fusions achievements at the same time, so it probably added some time. But hitting only 1.5 to 2.5k damage from one skill 3 feels surreal at floor 11-15, when you usually hit for 5-7k. At least getting 38 achievement levels after just one run felt nice.

If you have Lord Lu, just pick mao. Even without him she's good, considering you can easily fulfill half of her coin power conditionals by just being fast. Just don't forget to clash with her defense skill or use skill 3 on turn 1 for 5 haste. If you have good tremor or bleed team, than contempt is also good.
For season 2 you really only need 3 ids - Molar Outism (tremor bursts), Molar Ishmael (sinking count positive / neutral on all skills after passive activation, 10 base power evade.) and Spicebush Yi Sang(sinking deluge for teams that can maintain high sinking count). Pick one of those that you don't have, every other id is irrelevant outside of some possible md achievements.
If you have lust heavy teams that don't use Faust, you can pick Grip Faust (if you don't have her) for her passive (Uptie 4 +15 SP for lowest SP sinner when 3+ Lust resonance) form season one ticket. I use her passive with full kurokumo team, for example.

they were saying the next game was meant to be in 3d although i dont remember them saying anything about it being a 3d platformer, it always pains me to see such complex works be made just for one video or promotional artwork never to be used ever again. just think of if they released these models and someone ported them into super mario 64.

During the session, Writer Han explained in detail how characters with deep personal histories breathe life into virtual worlds and support the overall narrative structure of a game.

Released in 2023 for PC (Steam) and mobile platforms, Limbus Company has recorded a peak concurrent player count of 250,000 and has continued to receive love from players around the world.

Writer Han identified the game’s multilayered and three-dimensional character designs as the key reason it has been able to develop areas the audience can relate to. When the director proposes the core theme and world-building of the story, the scenario writer then develops three-dimensional characters in order to deliver those ideas to players in a more immersive way.

The central narrative of the game focuses on how each character confronts their own trauma, their ‘hell’, to discover their ‘true’ selves.

In this context, hell does not refer to a physical place with fire and demons, but rather to a deeply personal and psychological pain such as past trauma, regret, broken relationships, or self-loathing. These negative emotions act as obstacles that prevent individuals from moving forward.

Writer Han emphasized that a character’s hell originates from ‘contradiction’. Everyone has something they value deeply while also carrying flaws that bind them, and when these two things collide, hell is formed.

Writer Han explained that in order to make characters three-dimensional, she used an approach that twists stereotypes and interweaves characters’ values with their flaws as such.

For example, Faust, who is the group’s smartest genius, reveals underlying anxiety, contrary to players’ expectations that she would always be prideful. Heathcliff, may seem simple, rough, and full of rage, demonstrates quick decision-making and leadership in moments of crisis. Sinclair is typically a timid and fearful youth, but suddenly expresses a fierce and savage side. Meursault is depicted as the most silent member of the group, a man who speaks in rigidly formal language.
Writer Han explained, “When a character’s fixed image is deconstructed and then reassembled as such, players find it intriguing and also narrows the psychological distance, as they begin to feel that the characters are not so different from themselves.”

Analyzing the narrative of the main sinners

During the lecture, detailed examples of narrative development for a few of the twelve main characters and some supporting characters were revealed. The motifs of the twelve main characters are each drawn from twelve classic works of literature.

Hong Lu, the main character of Canto 8, is inspired by the classic novel ‘Dream of the Red Chamber’. He is a gentle young master from a wealthy family who appears naive about how the world works.

However, as the story unfolds, it is revealed that his gentleness does not come from kindness, but is a flaw born from a sense of ‘emptiness’, a lack of a will to live/attachment to life.

Hong Lu, who saw such little value in life that he would smile when insulted, begins to cherish his own life over time and is faced with a choice of whether to allow his emotions to take flight.

Players begin rooting for him to genuinely love life. Hong Lu is only reborn as a complete character when he confronts the contradictions within himself.

Hohenheim, a researcher who appears in the Intervallo 7.5 event, is an example of a character whose strengths also function as his flaws. Writer Han set him up as not just a simple villain, but as a brilliant yet cynical figure.

Being the sole survivor when the company collapsed in the past thanks to the sacrifice of the other employees, he suffers from severe survivor’s guilt. His inner desire of not wanting to lose anyone precious again manifests outwardly as a cold and indifferent attitude (a contradiction) which made him be loved by many players.

Ishmael, the main character of Canto 5 inspired by the classical literature ‘Moby-Dick’, is consumed by a blind obsession with taking revenge on Captain Ahab.

In the early draft, the story ended with Ishmael killing the captain but this was a failed narrative where the character would not have truly confronted her own hell.

If she were to kill Ahab driven solely by revenge, it would not be her own will, but merely an act of falling under the control of the mad captain.

Instead, Ishmael shows the growth of letting go of her blind obsession by confronting her own flaws and forgiving them herself.

Don Quixote, the main character of Canto 7, is blindly idealist and Fixer maniac.

However, through the story it is revealed that her true identity is a blood-sucking monster ‘Bloodfiend’, who must harm people to survive, and that her identity and dreams were all borrowed fantasies.

Even when confronted with this devastating truth, she resolves to overcome her horrific nature and moves forward with even greater passion toward her seemingly impossible dream of becoming a Fixer.

Concluding the lecture, Writer Han also confessed about the personal hell she experiences as a creator.

Writer Han Eun-kyung said, “Every time I start writing a new story, I go through painful moments where I can only stare at the monitor all night, unable to write, and I struggle with intense anxiety.” “However, I have come to realize my creative spark comes from that dissatisfaction and anxiety, and I am trying to face it in a more positive way.”

i am still mad that ahab survives, they are right on this but then throw it away by making ahab live. now eventually ahab is going to be reintroduced as le evil n corp buffoon which will undo all the character growth that ishmael made. i do wonder what role ahab will play in n corp tho since she probably is not in any shape to be doing the ole team rocket routine like gubo and jia huan. i assume we will fight her down the road with a new improved gasharpoon ego.

i dont think this actually means ahab was at hongyuan as im pretty sure this graphic is just meant to portray the factions in a stylistic manner but that is bizarre that she is in the image at all, i guess we know of so little n corp members that they really had to use everyone to make their place in the image make more sense.
