never thought about that, i assumed if they were to even consider that then it would be at a far off uptie 6 since the first uptie story and art change is at uptie 3, but i suppose if you dont count uptie 1 since the id starts there then it would make sense. if uptie 5 is truly made to bring back shitty ids to more modern power levels then i would expect new art and possibly a story but i have a feeling they wont.

At the very least new art is expected, story is optional but a lot of mirror worlds have their own plots that would have been interesting (even if rarely uptie stories turned up to have foreshadowing for future events).

It would be better if it let you transfer her burn and burn count to the enemy. Hopefully it will have the insane clashing Ish's Ardor Blossom does, since it saved me many times from failed clashes.

Gregor having a new Charge ID if nice, hopefully it will have some bullshit "this character can't die as long as it has Charge count".

tank characters are mostly useless but i think if they gave him the same type of massive shielding that his distortion version had that would be pretty cool, the charge shield effect is never used in a cool way i just want to see atleast one id use it to become invincible

The self sustaining ones like the Vampires are neat as they can soak up punishment from red coins, and occasionally the aggro mechanic does its job well and allows you to unoppose attack for big damage.

Issue is that only Meursault has buff cleansing in his EGO kit and most bosses stack massive amount of status so unless a tank can generate a ton of shield, it will die fast.
 
Having trouble deciding what to use the Anniversary ticket on today. I started like a week before Canto 9 released, so I’m missing most of the S6 ID’s, so that’s where I’m going to use the ticket at. I’m stuck between getting a Heishou, or Thumb Mersault. I’ve got Lord Hong Lu, Mao Faust, and Candidate Ishmael, and Prince and Hornet Mersault. I’m leaning toward a Heishou, but I don’t know which one to get. Looking for a suggestion if anyone has one

I'd personally get thumb sault since he has a stance change mechanic that makes him more powerful. He also helps out the notoriously shitty tremor team.
Just get a season 5 heishou since they cant be get right now and mao branch is best branch or thumb meursault since he has shin

Rule of thumb, choose a character you have very few good IDs for, or status that you miss a member to have minimal team for (except Charge).

It's probably Meur.

If you want an easy one (if you don't already have it), Mao Branch Adept Faust. It's like top 3 best identities in the game, pairs well with lord hong lu. Has assist defense (literal gunt guard bish). Is mao branch which has the best heishou buff (+5 haste for 3 turns when using skill 3 or defense skill). If above 10 speed you get a reuse on your final coin on your skill 3 (along with a few buffs on skills 1 and 2). For Heathcliff, theres r-corp which is good due to his skill 3 inflicting 4 fragile (on the same turn you use it too no less) plus it being a 5 coin skill. You should probably just do a season 6 one though since you can't dispense any of them 'till the next canto comes out.

If you're dead set on picking someone from that group then maybe Heishou Heathcliff to pair with Hong Lu or Kurokumo. That's only if you're dead set on those characters though, it really all depends on what IDs you have for the rest of the characters. This selection all has individually strong IDs for most content. Rodion and Sinclair you absolutely don't need another for, Ishmael is in a good spot and Hong Lu has his strongest ID but you need to build a team around him to get the most out of it.

For the rest of my sinners (Minus Don) I have the Heishou versions for, so I was trying to show a little love to my guys and gals who didn't have a whole lot.

For pure drip and first instinct I was thinking Thumb Meur.

Also nearing the end of Canto VII, I'm a horrible person because I'd much rather have Sancho than Don on the bus.
 
A tad late, but here's how my pulls went. Got Harmony EGO at 20, Chesed Announcer at 80, Faint Ryoshu at 100, about.. four more Cheseds.. something something, beta LC "love sensor" dialogue.. then I had to use the ideality for Hornet Meursault. Very unfortunate, as I was hoping to use the ideality for the Xichun/Wei Announcer, as I miss them.
 
I'm just waiting for whatever bosses will appear. Really hope for a Roach King just for the funny numbers that appear when Furioso meets +20 for every red coin.
