Considering the Distortion Detective crew is working for LC and they were basically bound to servitude under Dias last we saw them, plus the LCA guys we saw before all already looked like Udjat, I think it’s pretty certain now that Limbus is part of Dias's masterplan to gain a foothold on/overthrow the Head.

I don't get why people keep bringing this up. If things go the way I think they will, after the House of Spiders invade the LCE labs, there'll probably be a counterattack by LCB on the House with LCA forces.
These two events would be pretty much one after the other, especially if the House takes something from Limbus Company. Putting part 1 in an Intervallo not only would mean a pretty massive cliffhanger, it wouldn't allow for much characterization of the villains. After all, when was the last time a main villain appeared in an Intervallo for more than a cameo or foreshadowing scene?
Intervallos have all been pretty self-contained stories with some hints to the next Canto/larger narrative.
 
Bless Limbus. The cycle between "it's all over" to "we're so back" is something I love to see.

Absolutely hyped for Index Faust. I guess the Singleton mechanic will just be attacking a marked enemy with a specific skill. I wonder if the [Paper Slip] label means anything since Faust is labeled as Proselyte [Paper Slip].

Also, Ricardo incoming. I can't wait to hear his theme again.

Update on my roster: After pulling a ridiculous amount of times on the Outis banner (Yes I know pulling is dumb, but I got a lot of tickets and a gatcha pulling problem about saving...) along with the new player freebie tickets and getting to level 110 so far on the battlepass. A LOT of lunacy refreshes along with level refreshes later, this is what I'm at. (And just about finished with Canto 4.)

I used boxes to get his identity because they really didn't like giving me even a 00 version and wanted something more than his base ID for the dungeon. (Not knowing it would have leveled and uptied it to match current levels.

I picked the One Who Grips ID with the new player season 1 ID ticket they gave since I had a pretty decent Bleed team going. The Shi 000 ID came as my first 000 on the Outis banner, iirc.

Got her super quick on the banner, and since there wasn't any other ID's there I didn't pull more.

When her banner is the one you have been pulling on, you are bound to get a lot of ID's.

After I got Lord I boxed the Heishou ID to have more synergy

Now that I have a little more game knowledge about how to get ID's/Ego efficiently, the pulling is going to slow down quite a bit.

It's really scratching my Ruina itch of learning new mechanics and still liking the story. (Though the chicken joint mini-mission gave me a bit of tonal whiplash going high comedy after moody backstory from Gregory/Sinclair

I had to pause to trailer to confirm that it was really udjat

I just want content. The content droughts are really wearing thin, when just about every gacha has at least a monthly content. Arknights was especially bad literally ending "and we will never speak of this ever again" after 2 years of waiting.

At best the child will end up at a vegetative state with a golden bough stuck inside her. None of the sinners can have a good ending until the game is over since otherwise they'd leave the Company

DQ had a good ending, imo. In the original Don, though - didn't Don go like "AHHH IM SANE AGAIN!" and proceeded to be a gigantic crybaby until he died, and then everyone called him a fag because he was more tolerable being insane? It's like if Chris Chan suddenly became non-retarded and was like "AHHH! I WASTED MY LIFE, FUCKED MY MOM AND NOW I'M IN FINLAND WITH A GARBAGE PAIL KID AHHHH!" and tried to lose weight and become an insurance adjuster back in the states,

DQ is more bittersweet with the Bloodfiends Question still being open. I'd liken the ending of the original more for the case of everyone acknowledging and playing with the meme until it's so fake and gay that DQ call it quits.
 
So, what are everyone's predictions and thoughts on the new IDs, in terms of their use?
Udjat Outis seems to be Sinking - Tremor, as the last coin of her Skill 3 bursts it. I also think she'll use Ammo (maybe a special type, in smaller amounts?) and have some sort of self Charge (like Middle Sinclair). She seems to have either a normal Guard or Evade

Index Faust is probably only Poise, with a counter that gains Shield HP (unique status, too?). Her skill 1 is Sloth so if she ends up being Poise it'll be really useful to fuel her Thoracalgia. She has the obvious Prescript mechanic, though I'm not sure how it'll work in unfocused encounters. Also not sure how the Singleton gimmick will work, if she has one. She can be shit and I'd still use her because it's an Index ID

She might be bleed + poise, and she has the exact same skill affinities as BL!Faust too (Sloth S1, Pride S2, Gloom S3) to me I think the Prescript mechanic will be just like the Declaired Duel/Focused Attack status the Cinqs have, wherein it will gain benefits from clashing with whoever has the status. Wouldn't be surprised if later Index IDs will have it act as a key indicator that your skill might change to the next stage or active a blade-unlock style buff that rewards constant usage.
 
How many retards are going to be surprised when Dias shows up and they realize they need to read an unfinished korean web novel to find out who the fuck she even is.
 
Nearly choked on my spit when I saw Faust getting an Index ID, I'm so fucking stoked. I desperately wants crumbs on what happened to (LoR spoilers)
other characters who were eventually unbooked, such as Yan. I remember there being speculation that he (still distorted) joined Demian's blue man group based off of a silhouette seen here. I wonder if he is possibly undistortable, or if he is far too gone. Though I'd be happy enough to see Gloria and the rest of the gang too.
