So the father is part of the Prescript psychos? What if one day you are in the city and the prescript just says "Have sex with a woman in an alley and make sure that a proselyte is watching"
I hope we get harder boss fights in this canto.

Okay. Hope of going to be more grim dark. Last season started strong, but the glacial pace plus the underwhelming characters really soured any good feelings left.

I kinda hope they go full on Lady Snowblood and Ryoshu was raped by each of the 5 fingers so no one knows who's the daddy.
 
Finished Canto III, really feeling the early game material shortages. Finished with my main Sinners being lvl 25 for the lvl 30 recommended level and threads to uptie them so they get their Skill 3's being obscenely expensive in threads. Trying to time energy with manager lvl up refills so I don't have to waste boxes or lunacy with refills is also fun.

Love early game gatcha crunch

Doesn't help that lux doesnt unlock earlier. And limbus is really fucking stingy with exp rewards. I have everyone at ut4 with every ego ut3 but you know what i dont have everyone at lv55 that shit takes too fucking long damn you level 45 your steepness is too high

With the more you play you get better exp lux but you also get a higher level cap so its forever fucking stingy with resources. Right now I dont even have enough to fully level a single lv1 id

You're on canto 3 people usually say the first 3 cantos are ass you're gonna experience the true strides of pm writing pass that (i personally think the peak is canto 6)

I feel like the trailer proves this, but I fully expect the Finger dads be more sympathetic or comedic characters (Index, Middle) whilst the Finger mom (Thumb) is the comically evil character that TRAPPED and ABUSED baby 'shu and making life as miserable as posible for their underlings.

I get its central to Kim as a person but is anyone else getting tired of this? I'm gonna be pissed if he somehow spins Maman or even Marie into his designated "Insert(s) for my abusive Mom" for Meursault's Canto.

Im not too worried, he didn't fuck up cathy or nelly in chapter 6.

I'm not worried. There's a mix of male and female antags with them all being pretty solid rather than a child abuse stand-in. Cathy and Nelly as mentioned earlier are good examples, Jia Mu is more of "O MY VENERATED ELDERS" and evil chink worm things, Ahab is more just book Ahab but genderbent, etc.
I guess there's Kromer, but she's more of a psychotic stalker type. Jia Yuanchun is more comically evil chink court villain type.

I guess you have Hermann? Though Hermann is based on a male character, she currently has barely any presence, and at the moment her faction are washed-up frauds after Gubo and Jia Huan utterly shit the bed in their fight against the Sinners. There really isn't any abusive mom stand-ins aside from the barely-there Hermann who seems more busy picking up more retards for her job squad.

Dunno who the villain of Meursault's canto would be considering what I've read in the book. Maybe the priest at the end or the prosecutor who got him sentenced to death? Maybe we lose the Golden Bough due to Marie getting manipulated into joining the NLO9. It's definitely the canto I'm most interested in considering The Stranger is my favourite book of all time.
