I clocked it immedietly as Spiral of Contempt. Its very interesting how N. Corp is extracting the EGO while LC is essentially manifesting them (spesifically the bus department, LCE is doing gear research aswell) but also that N.Corp's are clearly more advanced, given SoC's risk classification.

Finished first part, lots of backstory, foreshadowing and it's extremely solid with some absolutely awesome moments, besides that drunken guy just randomly winning despite losing pretty much every clash. I like that the first round has a literal trap hole like it's a cartoon.
So far getting by with a poise team and goddam Captain Ish fell off in how useful she is due to power creep. Cinq East Don is a joy to play though.

It's not just extracting ego, their ID technology is also considerably better. As shown in heathcliff's chapter, they are able to put ID's on anyone.(I assume because they are using N corp's singularity) It's implied LC is only able to use ID's on people with an affinity for the identity.
This is despite LC having considerably more bough's.
I guess this is what happens when you make the research branch DEI and put Dante, Yi Sang, and Faust on combat duty lmao.
Every event I see people scrambling, their numbers decreasing.
While mine sometimes grows, it never goes down.

Last WN I didn't really care for Netzach so I didn't pull for his announcer.
I got everything I wanted in 50 pulls.
I think @ProfDongs might be richer than me, but I don't think anyone else in this thread is.

1 MD daily or more if I'm in the mood, 1 exp, 1 thread unless it's the frog and 1 refill. I've done a few dumps on autoing exp since boxes and modules are plentiful.
You could honestly just cash 100 boxes and auto with them all and you would run zero risk on running out of modules or boxes. There isn't much incentive to hoard them past 50 and you solve your ticket problem.

Update:500 modules spent on exp skips and one manager level up (edit did math i used 520 modules on just exp skips n shit)

Huh. Something that’s kinda neat is that Hongs maid and Daiyu should have died by this time in the book but they survived due to city shenanigans and this is acknowledged.
This means Hong was denied his crash out moments, as Daiyus death was basically warned about from his first Chad-Rock dream.
Hong is essentially completely off the rails at the moment. His bluff was essentially never called and he is well at the point where he should have fucked off.
It’s very strange, part of me wonders if there is a cultural difference in the way the story is scene but it’s like Hong fucked up his backstory somehow and everyone’s waiting for him to follow the script.
