This being live service game I just hope they manage to finish the first arc before shutdown. With a rate of 2/3 cantos a year that's at least 3 years of gacha game. Hopefully they understand the game and gacha systems to not have us wait until April for the next canto.
Also I wonder how many of the bosses will appear in mirror dungeons. I don't remember if you get a revive at the start of every floor or not, but it will be pretty necessary with the chain system. My guess:
The railway bosses:
* Certain day.
* Sheep.
* King.
(Probably not the character copies since that is the most lethal thing in the game).
Canto bosses:
* Barber.
* Vampire trio.
* Teddie.
* Rose.
* Influencer part 2.
(Feel like I'm forgetting another abno boss).

Only just now beat the canto due to taking a break after getting stuck on sancho
Or alternatively, IN WHICH IS RAMBLED THE DETAILS OF ONES OPINIONS IN REGARDS TO CANTO 7.
This whole plotpoint about don quixote after she drinks from the river of oblivion and gets obsessed with fixers is so cute yet sad, it perfectly encompasses the title of the chapter displaying her life in oblivion and the part where its revealed that bari was answering her letters is so cute and heartwarming i love it so much this is the best part of the canto.

this canto is pure soul. every single character was amazing except for the streamer. I didn't really like him because he just seemed like he was there only so the director could seethe at streaming culture.
Im pretty sad that we didn't have don quixote stay as sancho (i was really hoping this would happen despite how infeasible it would have been)
I so wanted the default don quixote id to be replaced with sancho or have an id given to you that is sancho while still being in the lccb branch.
However i do enjoy the theme of don quixote continuing on the dream and her now having the knowledge that she is dreaming and accepting it and as such I am interested in seeing how she will behave in further cantos and intervallo's. Additionally I do respect how she is handled as if it had gone my way then i feel her story would be a bit sour tasting due to her dream truly ending.
the dungeon was probably the best so far but, I liked canto 6's approach of just not having a dungeon and being longer. that may not have worked with this canto but I hope they do bring it back for hong lu's since he will no doubt have a lot of nuance to his story that is in need of an extended canto.
Mili has done it again although in terms of actual music I don't really like this cantos song and i think gameplay wise through patches of violet is still a better song in terms of not only musical prowess but in its ability to blend so well with the gameplay.
Furthermore I feel the story this time around doesn't really speak to my soul like canto 6 did. I have not even been in many relationships but canto 6 still resonated harder with me, hell I probably should relate more to the story of don quixote but I just didn't feel as good a connection to this cantos story as i did with heathcliffs. This is not to say that I liked canto 6 more than canto 7 but that I didn't feel a personal connection to its story this time around. At the same time I still think that this cantos story is better than heath's. As where canto 6's story is more about interpersonal issues, don quixote's story is about carving your own path in the face of adversity. Probably, I don't know I have not really thought too hard about the story yet and I may have more to say on this in the future.
In closing I think that the director has done it yet again and I look forward to the next dream.

Hero is out
As time passes I like it more and more. Guess that's because it changes its tone over the battle rather than be a big epic piece like previous songs.
It's pretty much a given, but I wonder if it will be Don Don or Sancho Don.

I'm biased, DQ is my favorite sinner so naturally this canto was my favorite.
My predictions for IDs are:
The Father of LaManchaland Mersault and Second Kindred Don Quixote.
There isn't that much room for 00 IDs since there weren't a lot of supporting characters during this Canto. They'll probably add a Cinq West 00 and a Bloodfiend Hunter 000 ID since IDs usually have a 00/000 pairing.
Hero is a banger and I love the LaManchaland theme. Best clock manger continues to bumble his way into the sinner's hearts.

I think, nearly undeniably, this is one of the best cantos that has been released yet- If not THE best. Cantos 4 and 5 will always have special places in my heart for thematic reasons, but war for the objective best is waged between Canto 6 and 7. Honorable mention to 5 coming in third imo.

It's overI am really curious as to what this one will be. I think it's the first collab they will be doing, no? I just hope that it isn't a collab with a gooner gacha or degenerate franchice. I don't want to have another Molar Ishmael induced schizophrenic meltdown from the koreans.
Canto 6 is still my favorite, I am biased because Wuthering Heights is also my favorite book by far. But I just feel like we got much more from it. In terms of characters, villians, gameplay, story and spectacle. With the higlight for me being the final boss with its dinamic music and the finale. While in 7, I feel like we bear-ly got to interact with the cast of La Manchaland. It does have the better cutscenes and presentation, but not by much. It also has the funnier moments with the theater scenes. It really comes down to what you prefer in a story since both are pure kino.

I actually started playing ruina a week ago since i got bored of having beat all the content limbus has to offer right now and it looked like it has similar gameplay,
I wish it was more like limbus in visual style because coming from limbus the characters are very lackluster looking especially since it doesnt even have the excuse that lobo corp had with its silly artstyle. additionally the attack animations are so bad compared to limbus corp that it really makes you appreciate how much animation has gone into the ids and even small enemies and oneoff bosses of limbus.
overall tho i like it and would implore anyone who plays limbus to play it since its fun seeing how many characters originally came from ruina.
