He should be unless they decide to run an EGO as well for some reason on the last week of the season. Usually its 2 weeks between a new ID/EGO except for early season when its been with the weekly content update.

Considering the ID fragments are alternate realities that can be few years back the line, Philip appearing doesn't say anything on whether he survived or not (pretty sure he and the rest of the ensemble is dead though, since the final battle in Ruina did not turn anyone into books). Wonder if he'll be a Sinclair ID.

Also I doubt we'll have Ruina characters anytime soon. Unless some Sephira decided to become a fishermen.

In leviathan and limbus its implied that everyone who is booked will be arbitrarily brought back. Philip exists as 2 books, the ego brave part of him, and the distortion coward part of him. Everyone in the ensemble is either dead or rebooked. I doubt Philip will ever be an id, but he'll definitely show up again in the story.

Interesting that they gave him Dimensional Rift on S3, would have been cool if they committed to that instead of rupture for him.

e: More announcements with stuff mostly concerning the battle pass. Main thing is BP is being changed to max at 120.

This reads to me like its more structured levels with rewards like 1-60. I'm probably being optimistic but I imagine for big rewards this means 10 extractions, 1-2 gold boost tickets, and a level 40 boost ticket since the level cap is being raised as well.

The ensemble aren't dead, if you read leviathan yesterday's promise shows up in front of Virgil.

Leviathan takes place a few months before limbus starts iirc.

That never happens, though? The ensemble all died by Roland's hands at the end of Library of Ruina. Are you talking about the flashback sequence in the last chapter? Then, that's Roland.

The big issue with rupture is that it's relatively weak, but once you have a method of increasing count on it without issue then it is horrifically broken. And making a way for enemies to recover from status count will fuck over every other status.

Honestly I prefer for the ensemble to die. The series already has a lot of luggage from Ruina, no need for villains who already had their conclusion. Also they are around the power level of color fixers so we have a long way to go.

Back to the game, I actually cleared the store. I still have around 400 ego shard boxes for season 1 reruns. I wonder if Farm Watch will surprisingly drop, so far Sinclair is the one that didn't get any 000 IDs this season, but he already had an end season run.
 
The teaser for Canto 5 just dropped.

We have EGOs for Hong-Lu, Rodya, Faust, Sinclair, Ryoshu and Ishmael.
The teased IDs are Pirate Gregor and (I think) Faust. LCCB team Ryoshu.
There will also be an announcer voice for Ishmael and Effie/Saude (The LCCB team from Canto 2/3)

Bingo for things I hope for in the new season:
1. EGO and ID uptie 5 stories.
2. New uptie art.
3. Negative coin characters.
4. Better status balancing.
5. Farm Watch ID.
6. Good 000 Id for Sinclair.
7. More than one canto.
8. More puzzle bosses.
9. Another chance to get previous battle announcers.

Honestly I'll take the bull anyday I'll prefer fighting the Brazen Bull over the alternative, even if he is a damage sponge, at least he is one with a known progress bar.

Also yay, I can get the narrators from season 1. And we have pirates, yuri voice and Ryoshu with a shotgun. Sad that Shotgun Ryoshu is only a 00. It is interesting only her 3 rank uses ammo.

The new EXP tickets feel like that don't give that much.
Feels nice to beat up thugs that aren't N-Corp knights for daily EXP grind.
 
Okay finished all the content plus weekly dungeon. Overall it's steps in the right direction, 6 characters fights flow better and the plot goes into an interesting direction with Ish going crazy, Outis trying to usurp Dante and Rodion goes tard wrangling. U corp is a new breath of air and the mechanics of the lake is really cool (would be amazing if there was a dungeon based around it). I feel like the statistics of coin toss changed since I got way less heads even with max sanity, also the service connection isn't very good but it might just be local from my end.
