Started playing limbus cock about a week ago after a friend of mine begged me to play it for a few months, got carried with supports from him to complete all the walpurgis nacht quests the day before they expired and with my pulls i got Hod, Pierre/Jack, and REAP ryoshu.
This is my current team, mariachi sinclair is only there because he was my first pull and my friend said i wouldnt be able to get past canto 4 with him (originally also had sloshmael as a meme character but shes so bad its not even funny).

currently on canto 4-16 and im getting really annoyed at the bullshit energy system coming into play stopping me from playing the game after a few levels which is especially frustrating due to how much filler non story levels canto 4 has and i dont want to waste lunacy refilling enkephilin since i like doing pulls (i know refilling is actually more efficient but i wanna play this as a normal gacha inspite of the fact that it isnt)

i really like my REAP ryoshu and i want to get the matching spider egos for her from the current banner but im afraid ill waste lunacy on getting egos for ryoshu which i will never use and im not at the point yet where i can just buy things with shards since i just started, i also see no point in pulling for them right now since the season is about to end and i dont want to get a bunch of shards only for them to be halved before i can even spend them. should i just say fuck it and gamba to see if i get them or play my cards and redeem them with shards much later on?
i know what bossmanjack would do in this situation but maybe i have to stand in solidarity with him and not gamba

I think new players would benefit saving lunacy for pulls rather than refilling since you have more of a roster to fill, and you get less enk from refills, maybe when you have around 100 you should start refilling since that gives you enough for an MD run but prior to that in my mind it wouldn't be worth it.

Never roll for EGO, let them come to you or spend shards on them if they're really worth it (rare). When you have most of everything or are getting ready to roll for WP that's when you shard for EGO.

couldnt resist my urge to gamba and did a ten pull on the new banner and got my first ego, i dont use ishmael tho so its kinda a waste unless i go back to using sloshmael which i may have to do out of obligation now

Bygone Days Ishmael is very much a Sinking team E.G.O. Unless you have one, you can just ignore it for now.
 
Hear ye! Hear ye! New users and returning users events have been announced!
On the 26th there will be events for users that qualify for one of these two conditions. If they created an account after the 26th or if they haven't logged in for 60 days. You'll basically get a boost for resources with some missions and one or two extraction tickets. For more details read the steam announcements page or the limbus X announcements (I am phone posting so I won't provide images)

its unfortunate that it seems to be for only very new accounts meaning that despite just starting a week or so ago i wont have access to such rewards unless they change something about the event before release
