This is a thread on those sick bastards who believe genital mutilation is a good thing. Fucking rabbis giving kids herpes?

Women even get their lady part cut off.
Dr Richard Shweder says "'First World' feminist issues and political correctness and activism have triumphed over the critical assessment of evidence."
Why would you do this shit? Why is god so obsessed with dick skin? Saul wanted a bag of 100 foreskins as a dowry.

I did, but it was from the other side, and deteriorated into shitposting almost immediately. Apparently it happens every time a similar thread comes up on this site.

Think for a second what that says about us: We're less capable of having a civilized discussion about dickskin than we are of discussing racism, misogyny, SJWs, politics, criminals, and criminal punishment.

That is very sad.

Because nobody who's been circumcised has ever masturbated before.

I don't know if this ever occurred to you, but those who advocated circumcision as a way to prevent masturbation back in the 19th century didn't actually know what would prevent masturbation. Guys like Sylvester Graham and John Harvey Kellogg also advocated teeth brushing, bathing, vegetarianism, and abstention from alcohol and tobacco as ways to prevent masturbation. Seeing as how most of the female nude models and porn stars in the country are generally the first three of those things, we can safely say that for all the benefits of hygiene and a healthy diet, it does nothing to decrease sexual desire.

Things are done to kids all the time without their consent for things they'll probably make it through. The chickenpox vaccine, for instance. We don't ask the kid if they've been following Jim Carrey's Twitter feed before we do that.

If you don't wanna circumcise your kid, that's fine. But you shouldn't just dismiss the benefits of the avoidance of penile cancer, UTIs, and reduced STD risks and go into a paranoid fit that it causes reduced sexual stimulation when there's no evidence it does.

Much as I appreciate Jesus and St. Paul's reprimand to those who obsess over ritual as a sign of devotion,* a large part of this was motivated by Roman hatred of the Semetic peoples such as the Ishmaelites and the Jews. There was a very brutal war against the Jews by the Romans around this time which led to the deaths of around a million people, so anything seen as too outwardly Jewish was hit down on hard.

*Why else do you think we can eat pork and lobster?

Hating Jews is a God-given right tho.

I didn't even insult anybody in this thread, and have no intention to. All I wanna do here is have a civilized conversation.

So what? I don't like them and they don't like me, but it has nothing to do with this thread.

For that matter, neither does this. We can discuss your dislike of me somewhere else.

surprised he hasnt called you a cunt yet
I did call her a cunt, but every time I did, it was in a more appropriate place.

I don't like @chimpchan, but I don't hold that against her. What I have a problem with is this silly little pissing contest. All we have to do is have a civilized conversation to put an end to it, and even that's apparently beyond her reach.

Vaccines aren't done for religious/cosmetic reasons

There's a huge difference between doing a medical procedure that involves circumcision and the reason why the majority of people in the US do them. While you can cherry pick a story about someone who needed a circumcision for a medical reason, there have also been botched circumcisions that lead to death.

There are also negatives associated with circumcision like loss of feeling in the penis. There have also been reports you're 5 times more likely to suffer from erectile dysfunction. At no time in its 75 years has the American Academy of Pediatrics ever recommended infant circumcision. Compare this with the vast majority of doctors who recommend vaccinations.

Since I was advocating neither reason and instead advocating on health grounds, I fail to see how this proves your point.

Go on. . . .

Interesting. I always thought there were 3 in 50 million deaths over a generation compared to the thousands of deaths from penile cancer. But surely your blatant sensationalism is worth more than the opinions of actual doctors, right?

Because if it wasn't, you'd look awfully foolish.

That's funny. Let's actually look at what the AAP has to say:

The American Academy of Pediatrics said:
Evaluation of current evidence indicates that the health benefits of newborn male circumcision outweigh the risks; furthermore, the benefits of newborn male circumcision justify access to this procedure for families who choose it. Specific benefits from male circumcision were identified for the prevention of urinary tract infections, acquisition of HIV, transmission of some sexually transmitted infections, and penile cancer. Male circumcision does not appear to adversely affect penile sexual function/sensitivity or sexual satisfaction. It is imperative that those providing circumcision are adequately trained and that both sterile techniques and effective pain management are used. Significant acute complications are rare. In general, untrained providers who perform circumcisions have more complications than well-trained providers who perform the procedure, regardless of whether the former are physicians, nurses, or traditional religious providers.

Any other points you'd like to make, buddy boy?

I do have some serious questions if anyone is willing to help.

Basically, I can normally roll my foreskin back, but if I have an erection it is harder to do. Generally rolling back my foreskin results in an erection, and the foreskin gets kind of tight around my penis. It doesn't particularly hurt, but it is fairly tight. Also, various diagrams I've seen show the foreskin rolled behind the glans and up the shaft a ways, but mine bunches up and doesn't go much further than the bottom of the glans. I'm not sure if this is a problem or not.

My other question is whether or not, after you put on the condom, it is okay to roll the foreskin back up, still inside the condom. Since I'm uncircumcised, my glans is pretty sensitive and in the open it is too sensitive for stimulation. I guess a condom might help, but overall sex would be more comfortable with a rolled-down foreskin. How risky would that be?
