I heard a bit more about Pride this year than last, but overall it still seems like it's on the wane. If anything it seemed to be overshadowed by the World Cup, especially if you're in a host city.

You obviously meant 'creative reinterpretation of the source material', but, let us be serious: if you ask them to make up an entirely original idea, the absolute best idea tha they will ever have is a scene about killing a nun.

Thankfully, there is a Kickstarter about th exact opposite: a programme that aims to give a creative outlet o children and preteens.

Only after that truck attack in Germany. But I feel like they consciously know they have to keep making appearances and not be dissuaded by violence.

Pride month is an invention of Burgerland (thanks, assholes!) and only a recent phenomena in the rest of the world. Before that there were already festivals like the CSD. The CSD always happens between late june and early august.
