I can't believe these shitlords don't have a triangle-gender flag yet. How oppressive.

-70/10 Not deep and edgy enough.

If I had to bet, it has to do with self diagnosed multiple personality disorders.
I looked it up:
"Alterous is described as neither being (entirely/completely) platonic nor romantic, & is an attraction best described as wanting emotional closeness without necessarily being (at all or entirely) platonic &/or romantic, & is used in the place of -romantic or -platonic (so say bi-alterous instead of bi-romantic)."

What even, man? Just what even?

Dear Tumblr, use actual fucking english.

Or is that ~*~racist~*~ to say?

Maybe it's a really retarded version of it based on doublethink.

Also I just can't get over queerplatonic. Isn't that just another word for best friend?
Yes. Were you in need of a flag to show off your pride?

(Though ask a tumblr user with a queer platonic relationship, and they will insist it's not friendship because the attraction transcends friendship and romance)

To be fair, they're probably not very used to having friends, so they figure it must be a special thing that's unique to them when they finally make one.

I'm attracted to myself!

What would that be called?

Queerplatonic wayyyy predates tumblr. It's a formal, committed friendship. That's all.

The best part of this is knowing that Tumblr kids run these off, tape them to their math notebooks, and literally nobody at school knows or cares what any of these fucking flags are.

"What's that symbol on your book?"

"It means that I'm only attracted to people when we're in a car together."

"... Okay ... I'm gonna go over there now..."
