Hit up on Stake/gamba ads bro, I heard they payout good (t. never ran a single ad on anything).
But yeah probably look into setting up Crypto donation links like what Josh does already for the site.

Btw any plans on letting us rearchiving videos to not be in shit quality?

I'll make sure to put your website on a whitelist, the ads aren't that bothersome and it's a small price to pay to having an archive of videos. If it was porn goonerslop then yeah I'd call you a grifting faggot.

Thanks for the great service.

Protip: set up some crypto donation addresses for shit like BTC/BCH/Ethereum/XMR and put the addresses on your Github as well as the main website. It's a good way to get sporadic donations and some nigga might donate a bunch.
 
@PreserveTube do you have an easy way to find videos on the website? I don't have the URLs for every video saved and could use a way to easily search for videos that have been archived. Is this coming in the future?

@PreserveTube Thunderbird and KDE desktop have gotten a lot more attention to their donation button with a one-time "annoyance" pop up, for KDE, and start up with the donation page the first thing you see for Thunderbird.
Going this route could help you if you want to keep this project going.

Overtime, as more shit gets put on PreserveTube, his forecasting for centuries will diminish into years, then into months. When you're hosting a shitload of videos, on top of daily visitors increasing, costs will run up too. I think ads aren't the way to go, but he should definitely be putting up ways to donate to keep the site alive for when the site starts becoming bigger than it is now.

You should have a donation page where people can donate to keep your site up. Just make sure you allow Cryptocurrency in case payment processors fuck you over.

It wouldn't hurt to be a little nicer to people who detransition. If all they get is scorn from both sides, they're more likely to just stay in tranny fantasy land where they get hugs and asspats from the other troons.

Put up a beg banner before the video loads or something then. These ads look like total garbage. Do you care if a user ends up downloading malware from one of these ads? Do you care about the reputation of your site?

If you've got savings for this to last longer than you're alive, why do retarded shit like this? Will the site get exponentially more expensive within a year or something? 50 TB is not much in current year, I've got that much sitting a few meters from me.

Why do this before asking for help?
