Is there a way to determine whether an attachment was posted in a thread or in a PM conversation though?

If there's not, we could theoretically* mitigate the risk for images by automatically stripping the Metadata (if the forum doesn't already do it) and filtering for anything with at least some number of matches on tineye (so that even if the image were from a pm, it's probably a publicly accessible image anyways).

Seems like effort though, and our dear leader deserves a break...
